Manoj Mistry Joins IBOS as Managing Director 

IBOSIBOS Associated Limited, a UK based multinational banking network recently revealed the addition of a new executive to its executive leadership and management team. As per the statement released by the firm, it has on-boarded Mr. Manoj Mistry to serve as its new Managing Director.

The incoming executive is a veteran with more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry and is an expert in banking operations and client management having served under leading two leading banks across all major global market regions.

Most recently he served in the role of managing director and head of financial institutions at Scotia Bank – a leading multinational Canadian bank’s Global Banking and Markets unit for their Asian division for nearly six years. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade serving in various senior-level roles at another Canadian Bank Royal Bank of Canada handling their Asian division.

While at Royal Bank of Canada, he served from the bank’s Hong Kong office and was in charge of their Financial Institutions unit, Capital Markets Unit, and Sales and Relationship Management unit. His most notable achievement during the term with RBC was his contributions as the spearhead of various business development programs for the bank which he led on a global scale.

As per the information in his LinkedIn account, Mr. Mistry has worked across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific market regions on developing business strategies for various regional financial institutions with a focus on global custody product development and strategic relationship management.

The Association is currently aiming to increase its presence in markets that show the ever-changing economic and geographical development demand. Some of its new member banks whom it had signed on as part of this goal are from South America, Asia, and Australia regions. 

Commenting on his new role at the firm, Manoj said, “I am delighted to be joining IBOS and to defining what the coming years have in store for us. I am relishing the opportunity to spearhead the next chapter of IBOS, and to further strengthening our market profile across key regions, particularly Asia”.

In particular, Manoj’s grasp of the Asian markets provides a crucial stepping stone into this arena”.
