Itiviti, the Sweden based leading electronic trading platforms and connectivity solutions provider, has recently revealed the appointment of a new senior-level executive to its team.
As per the announcement from the firm, it has onboarded Mr. Josh Monroe to serve as its new head of Americas region effectively making him a member of the firm’s executive management committee.
In his new role as Managing Director/Head of Americas region, Josh is responsible for driving the firm’s sales growth in Americas market region and is also responsible for helping the firm in its efforts to continuously drive growth and expand its footprint in market region by working closely alongside customer success and professional services team and contributing to successful delivery of client projects. As head of Americas region, Josh will be serving from the firm’s New York office and report directly to Itiviti’s Chief Executive Officer – Rob Mackay.
The incoming executive is a veteran with fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry and is an expert in sales and management verticals. He began his career in the industry as a Trading Assistant at The Ayco Company – a Goldman Sachs company back in 2005 post graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from State University of New York at Albany. He then served as a Senior Manager at Morgan Stanley for five years post which he spent two years serving as Vice President at SAC Capital Advisors.
After SAC, he moved on to SunGard (now a part of FIS) where he served in roles of Sr. Sales Executive and Head of Sales & Account Management for Hedge Funds division. After the firm’s acquisition by FIS, he served in the roles of Head of Sales – Front Arena, Monis, APT & Senior Vice President/Head of Sales – Trading and Risk Solutions division for North American market region.
His most recent role prior to joining Itiviti was Global Head of Sales at Ned Davis Research for a short term of ten months as per information in his LinkedIn profile.
