Know Your Customer, a Hong Kong headquartered Regtech specialist has announced the appointment of new senior level executive in its leadership team. As per statement released by the firm it has on-boarded Mr. Jamie Anderson to serve as its Head of Sales for the Asia-Pacific region. Know Your Customer was established in 2015 by a group of like-minded industry veterans in-order to build a state of the art platform which can revolutionize KYC compliance and digital customer onboarding process. Over the course of last five years the firm has grown to become one of the leading specialists in the sector which provides best in class anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) compliance digital solutions to firms from across the world. The firm has achieved this status by centralizing the KYC/AML process for all kinds of clients within one product solution thereby bolstering compliance process while also facilitating cost reduction and exceptional onboarding experiences to both individuals and corporate entities.
The incoming executive is an experienced sales leader with more than fifteen years of experience in implementing highly successful sales strategies and building sales teams in financial services markets from both Asian-Pacific and European market regions. Prior to joining Know Your Customer, he held numerous senior level management roles across industry leading firms having most recently served as Senior Sales Manager at FIS responsible for the firm’s banking and financial services domain across North and South East Asia. Before that he served as Head of Investment Banking and Private Equity for South East Asian region at S&P Global Market Intelligence based out of Singapore and as Director of Sales division for sell side clients at S&P Capital IQ Financial Communications in London. He began his career in financial services industry as a business analyst at Thomson Reuters post graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business information system from University of West England.

Karthik Subramanian has been a professional trader and fund manager over the last 18 years. He is basically a software developer who made the transition to financial domain around 18 years back as the attractiveness of the financial markets proved too much for him. He lives in Chennai in India along with his wife and son. He began his career as a software developer in 1999 and then gradually moved into the financial industry as he began trading stocks in his pastime. He then moved into the financial markets full time and then shifted his focus to the FX markets due to the liquid nature of these markets. Since then, he has been trading FX diligently and his favourite pair are the EURUSD and EURJPY. Over the last couple of years, he has found blockchain to be of high interest and considering his background in software and finance, he has since assembled a team of highly talented developers who have since worked on a variety of projects like crypto exchanges and blockchain architecturing. Now, he balances his time between trading and commenting on both the FX and crypto markets. He has worked with many publications including FX Street and Finance Magnates, which has helped him gain experience and also recognition across the industry. He loves to write and this passion has helped him to reach out across the FX and crypto industry. Right now, he works on his pet projects in the FX and crypto industry and spends his time writing and managing his blockchain team and helping it to reach higher.
