genesis revealed the appointment of Mr. Felipe Oliveria as its new Global Head of Sales and Marketing. The US-based financial service provider caters to a wide range of client base dealing in buy-side, sell-side, execution venues and clearinghouses providing them with a low code application platform built specifically for capital markets.
The platform facilitates the creation of products and solutions with minimal coding requirements making the development of solutions much faster and simpler and is also the only platform available in today’s market which meets the requirement for building solutions for capital market products.
The platform is also highly resilient, scalable and performant making it an attractive option for its users. The incoming head of sales brings with him a wealth of capital markets and commercial leadership experience in global, high growth firms.
In his new role at the firm, Oliveira will be responsible for helping clients take advantage of market opportunities by using genesis’s low code application platform to build products and solutions which can facilitate automated workflows thereby enhancing operational efficiency and increased revenue.
As the global head of sales and marketing, he is also responsible for overseeing efforts pertaining to the firm’s global growth and expansion activities and development of solutions for supported market segments. Prior to taking up his current role at the firm, he served in Coasta Coffee and LRS Suntory – the fourth largest beverage business in the world as part of its commercial planning and strategy team.
He also held a senior-level role at Amber Capital Management – a global multi-billion dollar risk arbitrage hedge fund – leading the firm’s investment initiatives across the capital markets spectrum. Earlier in his career, he served at Bloomberg Tradebook and Agora Senior Securities Corp which has since been acquired by Banco Bradesco.
