Coinhub Funded review: payout cap and the step-two reset

Coinhub Funded sells an 80% split and a fee refund on the third payout, while the contract caps trader receipts at the starting balance and opens step two as a fresh account.

Coinhub Funded review: payout cap and the step-two reset

Prop-firm review

Coinhub Funded

Verdict Coinhub Funded suits a manual forex or crypto trader who can accept a static equity floor, a 14-day payout cycle and a lifetime receipt cap equal to the starting balance. Traders who need weekend holds, expert advisors or news entries on an instant account fall outside the published rules, because those practices close the account. The biggest caveat is that the how-it-works page keeps step two on the same account, while the trading rules open a fresh step-two account and loosen the loss limits.

Key terms at Coinhub Funded

On 3 November 2026 the trading rules, in force from 14 October 2026, and the challenges page supplied every figure below.

  • Challenge fee: $695 on the $100,000 2-step account, from $75 on $5,000 to $1,295 on $200,000, plus 10% of the fee for news trading and 20% for the 90/10 split.
  • Account sizes: 2-step $5,000 to $200,000; 1-step $10,000 to $100,000 at $155 to $825; instant funding $5,000 to $25,000 at $125 to $399.
  • Profit split: 80% on every track, or 90% with the add-on on a 1-step or 2-step challenge. Instant funding is a fixed 80/20.
  • Profit target: 10% then 5% on the 2-step path, 10% on the 1-step path, and none on instant funding.
  • Maximum loss: static 8% in 2-step phase one and 10% from phase two, static 6% on the 1-step path, and a 5% trailing floor on instant funding.
  • Daily loss limit: 4% then 5% on the 2-step path, and 3% on the 1-step path and on instant funding.
  • Payout frequency: first request 14 calendar days after issue, then every 14 calendar days, under the payout policy.
  • Minimum trading days: three in each evaluation phase, then five profitable days before the first payout and three before the second, each at least 0.5% of the starting balance.

What a payout actually pays

The payout policy, last updated 14 October 2026, calls a payout a performance commission on simulated profit and controls the result where it differs from the trading rules. On the published $100,000 example, days of $2,000, $1,500, a $500 loss, $900, $700 and $600 make $5,200 across five days of at least 0.5%, and the trader receives $4,160 at the 80% share. A request must reach 1% of the original size.

Commissions paid to the trader from one funded account stop at 100% of the starting balance, so a $100,000 account closes once $100,000 has been received and leftover profit stays unpaid. The refund policy dated 1 November 2026 returns the 1-step or 2-step fee outside that cap, with the third payout or the payout that hits the cap, and the instant fee stays with the firm. After the first instant payout the loss floor locks at the starting balance and each request must leave at least 102%, paid in USDT or at a cash-enabled Coinhub ATM within one to three business days. Coinhub Funded publishes that $4,160 example and publishes no audited total, named trader or payment date, the same gap a Doji Funding review found on another simulated book.

Where the sales pages leave the contract

The how-it-works page keeps phase two on the same account and the same risk limits, then prints a 5% daily loss and a 10% overall loss against phase one’s 4% and 8%. The trading rules, which the terms of service incorporate, open step two as a fresh account at the full starting balance with new credentials, and the FAQ carries the 5% and 10% limits into the funded account. Cards advertise up to 90% against an 80% base share, and the extra ten points cost 20% of the fee on a 1-step or 2-step challenge only, the gap in the Solana Funded review. Section 7.5 can deny, reduce or hold a request, while the about page says meeting the rules means the trader is paid.

The terms header says 14 October 2026, the document-control note says 30 October 2026 and cuts the one-hour trial reduction from 50% to 30%, and the refund policy plus the risk disclosure, dated 1 November 2026, carry 30%. On 3 November 2026 the weekend close runs from Friday 21:45 UTC to Sunday 22:00 UTC through 14 March 2027. Cash is described as any Coinhub ATM, then as select machines, then as cash-enabled ATMs only. Contest mail is support@coinhubfunded.com, compliance@coinhubfunded.com or info@coinhubfunded.com across the payout policy, the restricted-countries page and the contact page. A MixFunded review turned on the same card-versus-rulebook gap.

Rules that close the account

Equity, including open profit, is checked at every tick from 00:00 UTC, and a touch is a breach with no end-of-day alternative. Instant funding trails a 5% floor off peak end-of-day equity until the first payout locks that floor at the starting balance, beside the static floors in the key terms, the same pairing set out in the PropXP review. A phase passes only on a closed balance at the target, with nothing open and three trading days done. On a 1-step evaluation a best day above 45% of closed profit holds the pass and lifts the target to that day divided by 0.45, a test the trading rules confine to the evaluation.

Positions, including crypto, must be flat 15 minutes before Friday’s close. The automatic flatten sits outside a breach and fails to count as a trading day, while weekday overnight holding stays available. The three-minute news window stays open in an evaluation, needs the add-on once a challenge account is funded, and applies from day one on instant funding. Thirty calendar days without a closed trade end the account, a stricter count than the how-it-works line about trading once every 30 days. Expert advisors, copy trading, cross-account hedging, martingale, grid sizing and minimum-day padding are prohibited, and a confirmed case skips the 20% reduction on the next challenge purchase. A missed Sumsub check inside 60 days can leave the funded login unissued.

A $100,000 account against two other firms

The rows compare the Coinhub Funded $100,000 2-step card with the Funded Trading Plus $100,000 2-step Classic card and the Breakout 1-step Classic column, as priced on 3 November 2026. The Funded Trading Plus fee is the total-fee figure, not the lower promotional checkout price.

The lifetime receipt cap and the fresh step-two login decide the Coinhub Funded account. Funded Trading Plus pays that 80% every 10 days, and Breakout pays on demand from $50.

Who stands behind the simulated account

The terms name Block Entertainment Operating LLC, doing business as Coinhub Funded, incorporated in Nevis, with its registered office at Hamilton Development, Unit B, Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies. A company registration number is absent from the terms, the risk disclosure and the restricted-countries page, so the number itself could not be verified from the firm’s documents. Governing law is the law of Nevis, and disputes go to arbitration seated there after 30 days, with liability capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.

Every account is a simulated demo with no real-market execution and no client capital on deposit. Coinhub Funded states that it does not act as a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser or commodity trading adviser and is not registered as any of those. The privacy policy names Match-Trader and Sumsub. The about page’s 2026 prop product, 2,000-plus cryptocurrency ATMs, 25-plus US states and 600,000-plus customers sit outside that company block. New York is excluded from a challenge, an instant account and a tournament entry, and the restricted-countries page follows an OFAC, United Nations, European Union and United Kingdom sanctions list. Read on 3 November 2026, the pages carry no named officer’s sentence and no dated payout from a named trader beside the $4,160 example.

Questions before the fee is paid

Is the funded balance the trader’s capital?

A funded account is a demo with a virtual balance. The terms say no real-market execution takes place and no client capital is deposited. A payout is a performance commission on simulated profit, in USDT or cash at a cash-enabled Coinhub ATM. The risk disclosure treats the challenge fee, plus any add-on, as the sum a participant can lose.

When does the lifetime cap close the account?

The cap counts commissions paid to the trader, not the gross simulated profit. Once those commissions reach 100% of the starting balance the account closes, a larger request is cut to the remainder, and profit left behind stays unpaid. The fee refund rides with the third payout, or with the payout that reaches the cap, and sits outside the cap.

Does passing phase one keep the same account and the same limits?

The how-it-works page says the buyer continues on the same account inside the same risk limits, then lists 5% daily and 10% overall against phase one’s 4% and 8%. The trading rules open step two as a fresh account with new credentials, and those 5% and 10% limits carry into the funded stage. The terms incorporate the trading rules and leave the how-it-works page out.

Can a funded account hold over the weekend or trade a news release?

Weekend holding is shut on every market, crypto included, with positions flattened about 15 minutes before the Friday close. From 1 November 2026 until 14 March 2027 the close runs from Friday 21:45 UTC to Sunday 22:00 UTC. News trading stays open through an evaluation. A funded challenge account needs the news add-on for the three-minute window, and instant funding applies that window from day one.

Who receives the fee refund, and who misses it?

The 1-step or 2-step fee, add-ons included, returns in USDT with the third approved payout or with the payout that hits the lifetime cap sooner. An instant-funding fee stays outside that refund. A breach, a prohibited-practice closure or a close before the third payout leaves the fee with the firm, apart from a cooling-off right where local law gives one and no trade has been placed.

This review is independent editorial analysis and is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and is not an endorsement or solicitation. The Industry Spread has no affiliate or referral relationship with the firms covered. Proprietary trading challenges carry a fee that is generally non-refundable, most participants do not reach a funded account, and funded capital is the firm's capital, not the trader's. Terms change frequently — always verify current rules directly with the firm before paying any fee.
