CMC Markets Awarded Highest Rated Overall Customer Satisfaction by Investment Trends

The Investment Trends 2019 UK Leverage Trading Report has also awarded CMC Markets as the highest-rated mobile platform/app, email customer service, and telephone customer service, as well as the platform with highest-rated features and education materials.

Investment Trends, the Australia-based independent research house, has found UK FCA-regulated broker CMC Markets to be the provider with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The report assessed client perceptions of the major spread betting, CFD and FX trading firms across 23 key categories including customer service, platform reliability, platform features, and education materials.

David Fineberg, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are very happy to receive this endorsement from our clients by being awarded the provider with the highest levels of customer satisfaction*. Our product teams across the globe continue to work closely with traders and the relevant client-facing teams to understand exactly how we can best refine the user experience on our platform, and as a result, we will continue to roll out new functionality. We are confident this approach will further cement our position as the platform of choice for every type of trader.”

CMC Markets has released a series of updates to its Next Generation desktop and mobile trading platforms in the last year. The latest roll-out includes  enhancements designed to optimize the overall trading experience, where clients can build the most appropriate layout of charts, feeds and prices, making the most of the rich functionality on offer. In turn, this customization affords each client the flexibility to trade in their own unique way.

Within the coming weeks, the broker will start connecting users to the latest platform, which includes updated watchlist views on both mobile and desktop, new topical watchlists, mobile chart upgrades, and the desktop multi-interval chart tool. The latest roll-out also includes fixed layouts, window tabs, light theme, and updated mobile navigation.

Ahead of the new ESMA rules on leveraged trading, Investment Trends surveyed IG Group’s EU retail clients and concluded that 94% said leverage is either a “quite important” or a “very important” factor in their choice of CFD provider. Two-thirds of retail clients rated available leverage as more important than regulatory status. The report states that 57% of IG’s retail clients were very likely to trade with non-EU firms in return for higher leverage. 23% would be “somewhat likely” to do so.
