Bizcap credit facility of $175m targets North America
The Bizcap credit facility closes at $175 million for US and Canadian originations, with the lender unnamed and an Australian loan cap rising the same day.

The Bizcap credit facility that closed on October 27, 2026 is a $175 million line for small-business originations in the United States and Canada. Bizcap, the Australia-founded funder, doubled a Fast Business Loan cap on its Australian site the same day, pairing a wholesale line with a larger home-market ticket.
Set against the more than $5 billion of cumulative funding in that announcement, $175 million is at most 3.5 per cent of originations already booked. That share marks the line as forward capacity rather than a refinancing of the past total.
What the closing says
Bizcap published the closing on its US site and through PR Newswire from Miami. The post calls the counterparty a leading US institutional credit manager and says the Bizcap credit facility will add capacity for higher originations and further product expansion across North America. Founded in Australia in 2019, the group says it works in eight countries and has funded over 100,000 businesses.
A credit facility here is a borrowing line a specialist funder draws to finance new receivables. Brean Capital, LLC is named as exclusive financial advisor and sole placement agent, the firm that arranged the lender. The post leaves the manager's legal name, the interest rate, the maturity and any advance rate off the page, and the phrase "will provide" stays prospective rather than a claim that the full $175 million was drawn on announcement day.
Products the capacity is meant to fund
The July 14, 2026 launch post said Bizcap was already operating across Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe and Canada. The American opening added a Line of Capital, a revolving line of up to $2 million, with eligibility from $20,000 of monthly revenue. The launch post priced Line of Capital Ultra from a factor rate of 1.02 for the first four weeks.
On the Australian site the same day, the Fast Business Loan limit moved from $500,000 to $1 million for local businesses, and Line of Credit Ultra was extended at 0 per cent interest for the first four weeks. Co-founder and Co-Chief Executive Zalman Blachman said, "We're seeing strong demand from businesses and our referral partners for larger, more flexible funding options." The two markets describe that four-week teaser in different price languages.
Who spoke, and who stayed off the record
In the facility post, Chief Executive Officer Albert Gahfi said, "This facility gives us the capacity to bring that approach to more businesses across the US and Canada, while continuing to invest in the technology, products and people driving our growth." Chief Legal Officer Mendy Piekarski said the facility "provides additional capacity to support our North American operations as we continue to scale, while maintaining the established risk management and underwriting practices that underpin our business." The post says Bizcap has put substantial resources into proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning for credit decisioning.
The July post calls Gahfi and Blachman global co-chief executives, while the October post calls Gahfi chief executive officer. The US site footer describes the brand as formerly NewCo Capital Group. Public coverage checked on October 30, 2026 leaves OnDeck and National Funding, two established US online working-capital lenders, off any reply.
How the line sits next to other funding
VIVA Finance's $150 million Viola Credit facility, reported on Industry Spread the same day, names the credit partner. The Bizcap credit facility adds capacity and withholds the partner's name. re:cap's lending reached €200 million after a €125 million UK facility, which is the path a commitment is built to produce once receivables fund. YouLend and Dojo reached £2 billion of SME funding, with 83 per cent renewing, and Lloyds extended a £400 million line to PremFina from a bank balance sheet.
A Gaebler listing for the October 27 announcement records Brean Capital as the investor. Bizcap's post gives that firm the advisor and sole placement-agent role and describes the capital provider as a leading US institutional credit manager, so the database assigns the credit risk to the arranger.
What the receivables have to show
If US and Canadian draws absorb a meaningful share of the $175 million over the coming quarters, the facility will have matched the release, which ties the money to higher originations. If the commitment stays largely undrawn, the headline figure will have outrun funded receivables, and the unnamed manager's borrowing-base terms will still set the pace, because those terms decide when originated paper becomes cash.
Larger Australian tickets and the new wholesale line hold together while the underwriting Piekarski described keeps credit performance steady as geography widens. The release publishes the capacity number and withholds the covenants an outsider would use to score that claim.
