Finantix
, a Venice headquartered leading global Fintech firm has revealed the promotion of one of its executives to senior level role. As per statement released by the firm, it has promoted Mr. Albert Iselin to role of Executive Director for EMEA region adding to his current responsibilities. Finantix is a provider of trusted technology for firms from wealth management, insurance and banking sector based firms. In his new role, Mr. Iselin is expected to help drive the firm’s expansion activities for sales and marketing function in EMEA region and will be supported by a hand picked team which includes recently hired Aurelia Philippoz who is an expert in marketing communication. Albert joined the firm back in November of 2019 as Executive Director for DACH and will continue to operate from the firm’s office located in Zurich, Switzerland. Albert is a veteran with more than two decades of experience in financial services industry and has held senior level roles in iconic brands such as Avaloq, Reuters & TIBCO Finance Technology.
Finantix considers Switzerland as one of its key strategic business base and many of its existing clients hail from this country. Iselin will continue to report directly to Mrs. Christine Ciriani – Chief Commercial Officer at the firm as he works to expand the firm’s footprint across EMEA region. Aside from Aurelia who joins the firm with experience in handling clients from Switzerland, the other members of the team are:
- Anja De Troyer – Client Product manager with extensive experience in advisory services for both international and niche firms based in Swiss wealth management sector and is an expert across multiple domains such as front office optimisation, regulation and complex technology transformations.
- Eva Jasiecka – Global Commercial Director will focus on supporting strategy, commercial positioning and help in continuing to grow key and existing clients.
- Jerome Vasamilet – Business Development Director for Switzerland with experience in investment conselling and EGF Asset Management.
- Gareth Williams – Business Development Director for UK with vast experience in IT service delivery and infrastructure in wealth and investment management sector in the region.
This move comes shortly after the firm’s acquisition of Zurich based Fintech firm InCube whose team made of AI specialists, quant, software engineers and finance experts are now focusing on its efforts to consolidate and strengthen its flagship award winning product platform. The statement mentioned that the creation of this European team is a strategic move to leverage its breadth of skills and expertise to focus on developing new products and services globally.
