WenCrypto review: 80% split, first payout capped at 6%
WenCrypto's 80% split sits on a simulated account. The FAQ caps the first withdrawal at 6%, and the February 2026 terms still call the fee non-refundable.

Prop-firm review
WenCrypto
Verdict WenCrypto suits a crypto trader who accepts a simulated Match Trade account, an 80% split and static drawdown on the one-step and two-step. It does not suit anyone who wants an exchange, live capital or an audited payout record. The biggest caveat is the withdrawal rule. The FAQ caps the first single-pass and double-pass withdrawal at 6% and the second at 8%, without saying what those percentages are of. Terms amended on 19 February 2026 still call every purchase non-refundable, while the FAQ promises the fee back after three withdrawals.

WenCrypto sells crypto-only evaluations and, after a pass, a simulated account paying 80% of simulated profit. Cards, FAQ, day-trading rules and terms were read on 9 October 2026. No checkout page was used. What a funded account is explains why that balance is not the trader's capital. Every card includes "Sorry, this product is not available in your region." The terms allow blocks for sanctions or local law, and the FAQ still offers the challenges, so this is a geo gate, not a shutdown. Genesis is labelled Coming Soon, with no price.
Key terms
- Challenge fee. On 9 October 2026, for $5,000, $10,000, $20,000, $50,000 and $100,000: one-step $55, $99, $195, $479, $949; two-step $44, $79, $156, $383, $759. A hidden coupon line matches the price shown. WenCrypto pricing.
- Account sizes. Those five only. The cap is $100,000 per account type and $300,000 combined. No scaling programme. WenCrypto FAQ.
- Profit split. 80% on the single-pass, double-pass and buy-now-pay-later funded stage. WenCrypto FAQ.
- Profit target. One-step 9%. Two-step 10%, then 6%. Buy-now-pay-later phase one is 4%. No funded target is stated. WenCrypto FAQ.
- Maximum drawdown. One-step 5% static. Two-step 8% static when funded as well: under $92,000 on $100,000 breaches. WenCrypto pricing.
- Daily loss. One-step 3%, two-step 5%, from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC. From $102,000 the line is $96,900, and a touch that day breaches. WenCrypto FAQ.
- Payout frequency. Every 10 business days. First withdrawal capped at 6%, second at 8%, third and fourth called unlimited. The base is not defined. WenCrypto FAQ.
- Minimum winning days. Three. A winning day is "more than 1% gain". The FAQ does not say 1% of what. No calendar deadline. WenCrypto FAQ.
What an 80% split actually pays
Single-pass and double-pass withdrawals need a funded account, intact drawdown and KYC through Veriff: the name must match, one email per person, and the card must be theirs. The cycle is then every 10 business days. The first withdrawal is capped at 6% and the second at 8%. The third and fourth are called unlimited. The FAQ never says whether 6% is of starting balance, equity or profit, which on $100,000 are different sums, and it is silent on a fifth request. The terms mention minimum payout thresholds and give no dollar floor. Buyers can pay by bank transfer or cryptocurrency. Outbound cash is only "supported payout methods".
The FAQ also takes 0.04% on each buy or sell, plus 0.033% if a position is open at 00:00 UTC, booked at 00:15 UTC. It does not say whether 0.04% is on notional or on margin. The fee refund is a direct clash. Cards say REFUNDABLE, and the FAQ returns the fee after three withdrawals. Section 6 says every purchase is final and non-refundable because delivery is instant. Treat the fee as spent, not as a stake in the balance.
What we could not verify is any payout ledger. The homepage promises pass rates, breaches and payouts. The sitemap has no statistics URL. The risk disclosure prints the only rate:
We provide a transparent notice to our clients: statistics indicate that the likelihood of a participant successfully navigating the evaluation phases to execute a withdrawal is less than 2.5% per transaction.
"Per transaction", the sample and the dates are missing, and so is any audited total. Trustpilot and Reddit returned nothing readable for WenCrypto from this network. Tanmoy Maity, listed in India on the about page, is quoted with no date:
I have passed 2 step 10k account. My friend passed the account some days ago. He got his payout as well.
No amount, no certificate. A 17 March 2026 post by Emma Alton says WenCrypto was built by the board behind Maven Trading. That post also says scaling is available. The FAQ says there is none.
Rules that close the account
The one-step is a 9% target inside a 5% static maximum and a 3% daily loss, with three winning days. The two-step is 10% then 6%, inside 8% static and 5% daily, and the FAQ repeats those drawdowns after funding. The one-step FAQ does not repeat a funded drawdown.
Leverage is 5:1 on bitcoin and ether and 2:1 on altcoins, on the top 100 CoinMarketCap names. USDT, USDC and DAI are barred. News, scalping, swings and weekend holds are allowed. Expert advisors are banned in the terms and the day-trading rules. Copy trading breaches both accounts. Cross-account hedging, high-frequency trading and tick scalping count as cheating. Dormancy is 30 days in the terms and 28 in the FAQ. The terms also bar anyone tied to another prop firm, allow a cut to 1% risk, and say that defaming WEN LTD on a review site ends the account. The day-trading page says "live account". The terms say every account is a demo.
Buy-now-pay-later flips after the pass. Phase one is a 4% target, no daily limit and no minimum days, with an 8% static end-of-day loss: $9,200 on $10,000. The $100,000 card then asks for $589 after $20 up front. Funded, the daily loss is 3% end of day and the maximum is 5% trailing end of day: a $10,000 account starts with a $9,500 floor, and $11,000 of end-of-day equity lifts it to $10,450. Consistency, biggest winning day over total profit, must be 20% or below. On the FAQ's five days totalling $3,050, the best day of $800 is 26.2%, so profit must clear $4,000. Its lock says $1,000 of profit becomes the drawdown, and withdrawing $500 cuts that drawdown to $500. Genesis is still Coming Soon and is not scored here.
How a $100,000 one-step compares
Read on 9 October 2026. HyroTrader's start-trading page shows a 10% target, 6% maximum, 4% daily loss, five minimum days and a split from 80% to 90%. Product data lists $749 for $100,000, beside an originalPrice of $832.22, while the card says plans start at $69. Fondeo's rules supply the percentages. The 799 is product data on fondeo.xyz, not a rendered price. Both call the account simulated. The HyroTrader review and the Fondeo review are separate.
| Rule | WenCrypto one-step | HyroTrader one-step | Fondeo one-step |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100,000 fee | $949 | $749 (originalPrice $832.22) | 799 in product data |
| Profit target | 9% | 10% | 10% |
| Maximum loss | 5% static | 6% | 6% of initial balance |
| Daily loss | 3% at 00:00 UTC | 4% | 4% trailing intraday |
| Minimum days | 3 winning days | 5 days | 10 trading days |
| Profit split | 80% | 80% to 90% | 70% to 90% |
| Payout wait | 10 business days | 24 hours | 1 day, then 12–48 hours |
| First cap | 6%, base unstated | $100 after the split | 5% of profit, minimum $100 |

Who runs WenCrypto
The vendor in the terms is WEN LTD, Saint Lucia registration 2025-00872, Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet. Email: support@wencrypto.com. The amended date, re-read on 9 October 2026, is 19 February 2026. Saint Lucia law applies: 30 days of talks, then mediation, binding arbitration and the Saint Lucia courts. Liability is capped at fees paid for that service in the previous month.
WEN LTD says it is not an exchange, holds no deposits and gives no investment advice. The risk disclosure treats the registration as an International Business Company, not a brokerage licence. No CFTC or FCA number appears on the pages read here. The prop-firm regulatory perimeter concerns real retail derivatives. Simulation is the firm's description, not a regulator's finding, and 2025-00872 was not checked against a gazette. Cards offer only Match Trade. Terms name MetaTrader and Match-Trader as third parties, not as a second plan. Minimum age is 18.
Questions traders ask
Is WenCrypto an exchange?
No. The FAQ says it is not an exchange and does not hold client deposits. Terms amended on 19 February 2026 call every account a demo with simulated funds, and say the service is not an investment service. A payout would be a share of simulated performance, not coins leaving a wallet the trader owns. The firm does not name the rail that would send it.
When can a trader withdraw, and what is capped?
On the single-pass and double-pass, the FAQ allows a request every 10 business days once the account is funded, KYC has passed and drawdown still holds. The first withdrawal is capped at 6% and the second at 8%. The third and fourth are called unlimited. Nothing says what the percentage is of. The terms mention a minimum threshold without a figure. Buy-now-pay-later substitutes a 20% consistency score and a withdrawal lock.
Is the challenge fee refundable?
The documents disagree. Cards say REFUNDABLE, and the FAQ returns the single-pass and double-pass fee after three withdrawals. Section 6 says purchases are final and non-refundable because delivery is instant. Until the firm picks a text, assume the fee is gone. It buys an evaluation. It does not buy the simulated balance, and it is not the trader's capital.
What closes a WenCrypto account?
Breaching the daily loss or the maximum drawdown closes it, and the FAQ bars any withdrawal afterwards. Expert advisors, copy trading, cross-account hedging, high-frequency trading and tick scalping are banned. So are traders tied to other prop firms. No-trade dormancy is 30 days in the terms and 28 in the FAQ. Defaming WEN LTD on a review site is a separate ground for termination.
Does WenCrypto publish a payout total?
Not on the pages opened on 9 October 2026. The homepage promises pass rates, breaches and payouts. The sitemap has no statistics URL. "Less than 2.5% per transaction" has no sample and no dates. Tanmoy Maity's about-page line says a friend was paid and gives no sum. No dated certificate with an amount and a method could be tied to WEN LTD.
This review is independent editorial analysis and is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and is not an endorsement or solicitation. The Industry Spread has no affiliate or referral relationship with the firms covered. Proprietary trading challenges carry a fee that is generally non-refundable, most participants do not reach a funded account, and funded capital is the firm's capital, not the trader's. Terms change frequently — always verify current rules directly with the firm before paying any fee.
