Vincent Harrison to Head Avelacom’s Expansion in Latin American Markets

VincentDublin based connectivity and IT solutions provider, Avelacom, known for its low latency network service recently released a statement yesterday stating its intentions to expand its business into South America. The statement also revealed that Vincent Harrison, who is already a part of the firm, has been promoted to the role of Managing Director of Global Sales.

Vincent has been a part of Avelacom’s family since September 2018 when he joined the firm as Vice President of Strategic Accounts. As per the announcement, in his role as managing director, Vincent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the US.  Aside from his duties relating to managing client relationship, he will also be responsible for overseeing the development of new services to help support the firm’s expansion into new markets in Latin American market regions.

The primary focus is on Brazil and Mexico where there is an increasing need and demand for low latency network solutions influenced by increasing interest from financial institutions connection these regions. Harrison’s role as MD of global sales is a newly created post inside the firm and he will be reporting directly to Aleksey Larichev, CEO of Avelacom. Prior to joining Avelacom, Vincent spent a great part of his career serving in the telecommunications sector. During his fifteen-year-long tenure in the telecommunication industry, he spent a significant part – nearly six years at Perseus Telecom now known as GTT. GTT is known for its wide array of communication services which it offers to firms from the financial service sector such as managed services and high-speed precision connectivity.
