TraditionData, a leading provider of global cross asset OTC market data and information services has revealed the addition of three new executives to its global executive leadership team. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mr. James Swanson, Mr. Jeffery Maron and Mr. Nobuyuki Ikeda to serve in senior-level leadership roles as part of its efforts to drive its global expansion activities and develop innovative high quality data products that meet with industry demands. Each of these three individuals are season veteran in their own rights having specialised in various verticals of financial services industry during their multi-decade long career history.
Mr. James Swanson hails from London, United Kingdom and takes on the new role of Global Vendor Relations Manager having just parted ways with financial data and media giant Bloomberg. James has nearly two decades of experience serving in financial services industry the entirety of which he spent serving in Bloomberg LP. He joined the firm in November of 2000 as Manager at Content Acquisition Sales unit for EMEA region and held the role for 14 years post which he was promoted to role of Global Manager – Major Accounts Content Acquisition & Business Management, the position in which he served until he parted with the firm in March earlier this year.
Mr. Jeffrey Maron takes on the role of Global Head of Product and will serve from the firm’s New York office. Similar to Mr. Swanson, Mr. Maron is a veteran with a career history that spans two decades during which he has served in numerous senior-level leadership and management roles across industry leading brands. Aside from his role as Strategic Advisor at Paradigm, he most recently served as Managing Director at IHS Markit having held the role for more than eight years. Some of his other notable roles include – Head of Trading Systems & Administration eCommerce at GFI Group, Head of Exchange Division at Super Derivatives, Chief Content Officer at Moneyline Telerate Inc and Managing Director for Garban unit at ICAP.
Mr. Nobuyuki Ikeda takes on the role of Senior Business Development Manager and will serve from the firm’s Tokyo office. Ikeda is a relatively new entrant to industry compared to other two executives who join alongside him, but he has still been in the industry for more than decade specialising in market data and analytics and is well renowned executive in the industry across APAC region. Before taking up his current role, he served as Regional Head of Data and Analytics at TP ICAP in Japan prior to which he served as Regional Head of Tullet Prebon Information for Japan, Australia and Korea.
