Saxo Bank Appoints Top Executives From Barclays And Nordea

Saxo BankMulti-asset trading company Saxo Bank has announced the appointment of Eric Krueger as Global Head of Client Services, a newly established position where he will be responsible for managing and developing Saxo Bank’s client relationships and the infrastructure serving those clients. The broker also added Oliver Zecevic as Head of Operations.

 

Effective from 2 July 2018, Krueger will be reporting directly to Damian Bunce, Chief Commercial Officer of Saxo Bank A/S, as he assumes the overall responsibility to lead Saxo Bank’s global client services organization.

 

Krueger is an industry veteran with 20 years experience in the financial ecosystem, including expertise in program trading, electronic trading, and sales trading. He developed his skills while playing executive roles at big banking names such as Barclays Capital and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

 

Eric Krueger joins Saxo Bank from nine years at Barclays, where he was Managing Director Head of Cash Execution EMEA. Prior to that, he held a number of leading roles on program and electronic trading during his 11 years at Merrill Lynch.

Oliver Zecevic Appointed Head of Operations to Focus on Scalability

 

Saxo Bank has also added Oliver Zecevic as the company’s new Head of Operations, effective September 1, to focus on scalability and efficient operations as well as progressive digitization of the broker.

 

Zecevic joins Saxo Bank from Nordea, where he spent the entirety of his working career. Over his 16 years at the Danish bank, he became Head of Investor Solutions and Services after roles as Head of Derivatives Operations and Head of Clearing.
