Real-time collateral and liquidity management technology provider Transcend has announced the appointment of BJ Marcoullier as Head of Sales to drive the firm’s business development efforts.
Marcoullier is an industry veteran with 22 years at JPMorgan Chase, most recently leading its North American liquidity and collateral team within the Equity Finance and Prime Brokerage platform. In addition, he played a leading role in the design and implementation of the bank’s global Equity Finance technology platform, which includes all major pre to post-trade systems.
His team at JP Morgan Chase was responsible for funding, liquidity and capital optimization of the bank’s US Broker-Dealers and Prime Brokerage businesses. Other roles include head of the Americas securities and lending desk and trader of swaps and options books.
Marcoullier also served as Chairman of the board of directors of Equilend, a securities lending platform started in late 2001 by a consortium of leading financial services institutions, which include JP Morgan Chase.
