Karthik Subramanian has been a professional trader and fund manager over the last 18 years. He is basically a software developer who made the transition to financial domain around 18 years back as the attractiveness of the financial markets proved too much for him. Russell Sears Appointed AS Chief Revenue Officer of TradAir

TradAir - Russell SearsIsraeli cloud trading solutions provider TradAir, known for its individually customised institutional grade trading solutions for FX, CFD’s and Digital Assets recently revealed in an announcement in its official LinkedIn page that the firm now has made a new addition to its senior level leadership team. As per the statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. Russell Sears, former Currenex executive to serve as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Russell’s appointment to his new role is effective immediately and will be based out of the firm’s office located in London. Sears is a veteran with more than two decades of experience serving in industry leading multinational financial service providers. In his new role as Chief Revenue Officer, Mr. Sears is responsible for strengthening the firm’s market penetration efforts while also working to bolster its sales capabilities. Mr. Sears will also work in supporting capacity to TradAir’s sales, marketing and business development team.

Russell began his term at Currenex back in September of 2002 long before the firm’s acquisition by US based multinational banking service provider and holdings firm State Street Corporation in 2007. He spent more than half of his entire career serving as an executive at Currenex having remained at the firm for 12 years and 8 months as per information in his LinkedIn profile. At time of his resignation from the firm, he served as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Sales at Currenex and was also the head of European division of State Street’s E-Exchange group which is made of Currenex & FX Connect. Mr. Sears then went on to establish his own firm in UK – MYPAD PROPERTY LTD, a dormant firm as per data in UK’s Company house website information. Prior to his term at Currenex, Mr. Sears has held senior level roles at FX department of several industry leading firms such as Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Tokai Bank, TD Securities & BNP Paribas.

Commenting on Russell’s appointment at the firm, Cliff Lewis – Chairman of TradAir & his manager during Russell’s tenure at Currenex said, “Russell is a superstar and it will be great working with him again”.
