Capitolis, a leading provider of SaaS platform optimization services focusing on capital market resources revealed in its latest announcement that it has appointed Dr. Petra Wikstrom as its new business development executive. In her new role at the firm, Petra will be working from the firm’s New York office and report directly to Mr. Ben Tobins – Capitolis’ global head of sales and work on the firm’s buy-side focused unit for Americas region. The incoming executive is a seasoned veteran with more than two decades of experience in financial services industry primarily focusing on forex services. Before taking up her current role at the firm, she served as senior advisor for Streamline Analytix in their electronic trading division for nearly one and a half years.
Prior to that, she served as Global Head of Execution and Alpha Solutions – part of FXLM & Commodities derivatives trading unit at BNP Paribas having been a part of the firm for nearly five years. Prior to that, she served as Head of QSI North America – FXEM sales & structuring at Morgan Stanley for nearly four years. Prior to that she served at RBS Global Banking and Markets as a Managing Director for nearly seven years during which she lead the firm’s quant unit for its north American operations initially and then as global head of quant solutions. She began her career as Quantitative analyst – financial markets at Svenska Handelsbanken in January of 1999 after finishing her PhD in Physics – Fluid Dynamics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
