Mohamed Ahmed Appointed as ADSS’s Senior VP of Sales at Head Office in Abu Dhabi

UAE based brokerage service provider ADSS has released a statement recently announcing Mohamed Ahmed’s appointment as the Senior Vice President of Sales division at their global headquarters located in Abu Dhabi. While the move was initially only mentioned in Ahmed’s LinkedIn profile which stated that he has joined the firm earlier this month, a report published in Financemagnates website stated that he joined the firm just last week. Prior to his current role as Senior Vice President of Sales at ADSS, Ahmed served as Manager for Premium Clients for UK based online trading service provider IG at their Dubai office for period of nearly one and a half years. Prior to joining IG, Ahmed served as Managing Director – Head of Dubai office at Amana Capital and before moving to United Arab Emirates, Mohamed pursued his career in financial sector in USA.

While working in USA, he served as MENA Sales Manager at FXCM for period of more than 3 years and as Financial Services Representative and Sales Team Lead at Gain Capital For period of nearly 3 years. As per information in his LinkedIn profile, Mohamed graduated with a degree in financial planning and services in Cairo and with a Masters degree in Global business and finance in City University of New-York-Brooklyn College post which he began his career in financial industry as a Research Analyst at The American Company for Security Brokerage. At time of joining ADSS in their global headquarters in UAE, Mohamed is an industry veteran with nearly a decade of experience handing various roles in sales capacity.

When speaking about his vast experience in sales role across various financial firms, Ahmed commented that, “This was a once in a lifetime transnational opportunity, extraordinary in every way. I was privileged to get my fingerprints all over the sales processes from developing productive relationships with leading global banks, regional banks, HFTs, CPOs, Funds, prop desks, retail and institutional brokers and UHNW clients in the FX space to closing new businesses and managing relationships by leveraging complex reasoning skills and negotiate client contracts and terms by always acting in the best interest of the clients”.  Despite working in USA, a greater part of his experience was focused on clients at MENA region making him an expert in dealing clients from Middle East as he joins one of Middle East’s biggest trading service provider.
