ADSS Asia Appoints Jacob Wissum as its New Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer

ADSSADS Securities Hong Kong Ltd. also known as ADSS Asia has made a new addition to its senior level management team. The company has announced the appointment of Jacob Wissum as its Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer.

Jacob Wissum will be based in ADSS’s Hong Kong office and will report directly to ADSS Asia CEO, Francis Lee. Jacob Wissum joins ADSS Asia with over a decade-long experience of the Fx brokerage industry in various capacity.  

Jacob Wissum joins ADSS Asia from Bovill Asia (HK) Ltd, the firm specialising in financial regulatory consultancy services where he was Head of their Hong Kong office. During his career, he has worked with a large number of European banks and Fx brokerage firms. He was also the legal counsel for Danske Bank and the longest he has served for any company was in Saxo Bank between December 2010 to January 2017. He started as a Legal Counsel for the company, before being promoted as the APAC Head of Legal and Compliance for the brokerage in Singapore.

Wissum completed Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Laws from Aarhus University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Laws from Copenhagen Business School.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Francis Lee said:
