MetaTrader 5 Becomes More Socially Friendly With Chat Rooms

December 5, 2018

metaquotesMetaQuotes Software Corp, the creator of world-renowned trading platforms MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, has released a revised version of MT5 which allows brokers to start serving clients directly in MetaTrader 5 chats.

The updated platform chat functionality, which allows traders and technical support teams to chat directly while trading, is designed to leverage brokers’ trading communities with joint discussions of ideas, the creation of custom channels with their own content, and sharing posts.

Ruslan Saakov, Head of Technical Support Team at AMarkets, a MetaTrader 5 broker, commented: “We pay the utmost attention to the effectiveness of our service and we appreciate the value of our customers’ time. In trading, every second counts. When we learned of the ability to arrange support directly in the MetaTrader 5 platform, we immediately grasped this opportunity. Our customers highly appreciated the innovation. We started receiving requests just a few minutes after the news about the new feature was published.”

In late October 2018, MetaQuotes had announced an upgrade to the MetaTrader 5 terminal, now allowing traders to detach financial symbol charts from the trading terminal window in a way that is convenient when using multiple monitors. Users may set the main platform window on one monitor to control the account state and move your charts to the second screen to observe the market situation. By disabling the Docked option in its context menu, the user is able to detach a chart from the terminal and then move the chart to the desired monitor.

An increasing number of third-party solution developers have launched MetaTrader 5 based products for FX and CFD brokers. This specific business to business market has been dominated by Gold-i and oneZero for years. The number of participants has doubled and includes industry names such as  Dynamic Works, Fortex Inc, Brokeree Solutions and B2Broker.
Brokers can access a plethora of third-party MetaTrader 5 applications through MetaQuotes’ official service. Integration companies can promote their solutions to all institutional users of the platform via this new marketing channel. The new B2B service is expected to stimulate the market and accelerate migration to MetaTrader 5. By the end of 2016, MetaTrader was being used by traders at more than 100 FX brokers.
