GKFX Taps Former ICM Capital Executive, Khaled Guerbouz as its New Middle East CEO

Guerbouz is a seasoned market professional with years of experience in the institutional sales role at several brokerage houses.

GKFXgkfx, the leading FCA regulated retail forex broker in the United Kingdom has secured the former ICM Capital institutional business development manager, Khaled Guerbouz as new CEO for its office in Middle-East. Khaled Guerbouz will be based out of the company’s Dubai office and will be reporting directly to the company’s London headquarters. GKFX will be operating in Dubai via a representative office license.

The news of hiring comes amidst as companies are looking to diversify their business with much presence outside the European Union. This can also be seen as companies’ effort to drive growth from the uncertain situation emerging out of Brexit. The Middle East region especially the UAE has become the major focal point for the industry and prominence of Dubai as a major financial centre which is attracting many new brokers in the city.

Khaled Guerbouz is a seasoned institutional sales professional with strong experience and knowledge. He has also led the sales team at Alpha Capital Market and ICM Capital from Dubai. Guerbouz was Institutional Sales Manager at Alpha for over three years, and his most recent position was at ICM Capital where he was Institutional Business Development Manager for the last three years.

With the EU retail market becoming one of the toughest markets to operate in the midst of tightening regulations and Brexit uncertainty, brokerage industry is now shifting its focus towards the institutional space. Guerbouz’s experience in institutional sales will help GKFX to enhance its institutional business capabilities and also to fuel its growth.
