Karthik Subramanian has been a professional trader and fund manager over the last 18 years. He is basically a software developer who made the transition to financial domain around 18 years back as the attractiveness of the financial markets proved too much for him. He lives in Chennai in India along with his wife and son. He began his career as a software developer in 1999 and then gradually moved into the financial industry as he began trading stocks in his pastime. He then moved into the financial markets full time and then shifted his focus to the FX markets due to the liquid nature of these markets. Since then, he has been trading FX diligently and his favourite pair are the EURUSD and EURJPY. Over the last couple of years, he has found blockchain to be of high interest and considering his background in software and finance, he has since assembled a team of highly talented developers who have since worked on a variety of projects like crypto exchanges and blockchain architecturing. Now, he balances his time between trading and commenting on both the FX and crypto markets. He has worked with many publications including FX Street and Finance Magnates, which has helped him gain experience and also recognition across the industry. Finantix Adds New Senior Level Executives to Bolster Local Teams in UK & Singapore

FinantixFinantix, a leading provider of trusted tech for wealth management, insurance, and banking sector, recently revealed the addition of two new executives to its senior-level leadership team in the UK & Singapore.

As per the statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. Michael Gantenbein & Gareth Williams to serve as the Account Delivery Director in Singapore and Business Development Director in the United Kingdom. These latest appointments follow the firm’s investments made in 2019 and are aimed at building out local teams in key locations to support closer relationships with clients.

According to a recent Forrester* report, wealth and investment management firms have been increasing their focus on digital technologies and seek ways to leverage these to improve customer experience as well as increase productivity for their advisors. The extensive and innovative portfolio of Finantix offerings has been developed with this in mind, combined with teams on the ground that can provide local expertise, knowledge, and client support.

With over 20 years’ experience in the IT and financial services industry, Michael brings an array of skills to this new role, including account management, software delivery, business development, team management, and business process management in fintech, cloud, and omnichannel technologies. Prior to joining Finantix, Michael held senior roles at Flowable, Soreco, and Itartis. He also holds direct banking experience, having served at Credit Suisse in various positions for over a decade.

At Finantix, Michael will help drive growth as financial services firms in the region are increasingly embracing digital technologies in wealth management as a way to inject efficiency and automate proactive capabilities throughout the client lifecycle.

Gareth joins Finantix with a rich history of wealth management and private banking experience, having worked for almost three decades in these industries, including IT Director, Service Delivery Director and Programme Manager roles at Brewin Dolphin, Investec Wealth & Investment UK, and Hambros Bank. Gareth joins the Business Development team based in London. It will grow Finantix’s presence within the UK, assisting the R&D team to further enhance the firm’s core product suite, as well as providing account management to clients in this region.
