Andrea Remyn Stone Appointed as Refinitiv’s Customer Proposition Officer

Andrea Remyn Stone Refinitiv, the UK based provider of financial market data and infrastructure recently revealed the appointment of the new senior-level executive to its leadership team.

As per the statement released by the firm, it has hired Andrea Remyn Stone to serve as its Customer Proposition Officer and member of the executive leadership team. In her new role as Customer Proposition Officer, Andrea will be based out of the firm’s headquartered in London and is expected to work with the firm’s clients to develop breakthrough solutions in open platform technology collaboration and will be reporting directly to firm’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. David Craig.

Andrea’s appointment at the firm is a clear sign of Refinitiv’s continues commitment to expand its overarching product and content strategy for the global financial community by creating richer data and unparalleled insight, workflow, and analytics. 

Andrea has a proven successful track record in leading innovation and commercial differentiation within sell-side, buy-side, wealth and corporate clients. Refinitiv hopes to leverage Andrea’s experience in this area to help in improving the way customer needs are addressed in future across clients from both new and existing propositions with a priority focus on customer needs for its portfolio, including the Refinitiv data platform and the products it powers. Andrea’s most recent role prior to taking up her current position with Refinitiv was to serve as Chief Strategy Officer at Dealogic.

During her term as CSO at the firm, she led the development, communication, and implementation of Dealogic’s key initiatives as well as managing planning, acquisitions and the evolution of the firm’s value proposition. Before Dealogic, she served as Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Bloomberg and remained a part of the online news media giant for nearly five years. 

As Bloomberg’s head of strategy & corporate development, Andrea was responsible for leading the media giant’s organic and inorganic business initiatives which include business incubation, commercialization, growth acceleration and acquisition, partnerships and equity investments. Prior to Bloomberg Andrea served as McGraw-Hill’s Managing Director of Standard and Poor’s Investment Research and Advisory Services and directed the firm’s product development, marketing, and business development globally for a $250 Million portfolio consisting of financial information and investment advisory businesses.
