FINANTEQ, a software firm focused on digital banking channels”, has announced banks will have access to two of its solutions for free during the pandemic. Both solutions can be easily implemented and will help in replacing the physical branch with a fully operational digital one. The promotion for the products will end with a WHO announcement stating that the pandemic is over.

Andrzej Sierpiński, Managing Director at FINANTEQ, said: “The number of bank branches has been decreasing for years. But as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, many organizations have closed branches completely.
To help banks in overcoming the crisis we are offering two of our solutions free of charge till the end of the pandemic.

The fintech firm is offering Pocket Branch, a remote channel for banks that lets bank customers bank through a video, audio or text chat. The platform is created for mobile and web applications.

Extentum, a no-code tool for extending any digital banking in days, is also free of charge during the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows banks to quickly implement new features without releasing new versions of web and mobile systems. During the COVID outbreak it can be used to digitize banking processes that normally are only available in the physical branches.

Artur Małek, Head of Marketing at FINANTEQ, commented: Due to the crisis, clients will seek answers on how to adjust to rapidly changing financial situations. Thanks to Pocket Branch, they can receive assistance quickly through a chat, screen-sharing or co-browsing. Our digital branch will also help in giving video advice to VIP customers, transferring documents or verifying clients and authorizing transactions.

FINANTECH was founded in Portugal in 1994 and has grown internationally as they support banks transitioning to digital banking.
