Euronext (EPA: ENX), the pan-European exchange operator on Monday has announced that the Supervisory Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Chris Topple as CEO of Euronext London, Head of Global Sales and a member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval and regulatory approval.
Chris Topple will take up his new role in Euronext on October 15, 2018, and will be based out of London. Chris has an extensive knowledge and experience in brokerage and clearing services and in Euronext, he will be responsible for sales across all asset classes. Interim CEO, Paul Humphrey of Euronext London and Head of Global Sales, will remain in his current role as Global Head of FICC.
Chris joins Euronext from Societe Generale Prime Services, a global multi-asset, multi-instrument prime brokerage as a Managing Director and has been with the group since Feb 2010. He has spent his almost entire career with leading financial houses in managerial position including Nomura as a Co-Head of Prime Brokerage Sales, Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Vice President at JP Morgan Chase. Chris holds a BSc in European Business with Technology Politecnico di Torino from Italy and Brighton Polytechnic.
