Digital Vega Adds Standard Chartered as FX Options Liquidity Provider

digital vegaStandard Chartered Bank has become a Liquidity Provider (LP) on Digital Vega’s Medusa trading platform, a leading FX Options e-trading solution.

Making use of Standard Chartered’s unique global footprint, which actively trades over 100 currencies, Digital Vega’s Medusa platform will boast broader liquidity for automated FX Options trading.

In February 2019, Digital Vega appointed two senior executives in order to support its expanded product development strategy for its leading FX Options e-trading platform. The firm, which will shortly add two new salespeople, has recently hired two new senior developers. Industry veteran and ex-Tullet Prebon executive Simon “Benny” Lewis was named Head of Interdealer Solutions.
Romain Camus, former Executive Director, Head of Foreign Exchange Structuring at VTB, joined Digital Vega as Head of Exotic Options.

Digital Vega is a leading provider of OTC FX option trading tools to the Institutional FX market. Its offering includes the Medusa FX Options trading platform which has gained attention as more OTC and derivatives markets migrate to electronic trading models, driven either by regulations or client demand.

Standard Chartered Bank has recently launched an online platform that allows retail clients to make FX conversions in real-time, gain market insights and place limit orders anytime.
In late 2018, Advanced Markets signed Standard Chartered Bank as a foreign exchange prime broker for its Direct Market Access (DMA/STP) liquidity infrastructure.
