DayTraders review: payout caps under its 100% split
DayTraders review: a 100 percent simulated split, a $2,000 cap and a $52,600 floor on the 50K Trail, plus a redacted ledger no reader can match to a bank.

Prop-firm review
DayTraders
Verdict DayTraders suits futures traders who want a one-time fee, a choice of intraday trail, end-of-day trail or fixed floor, and a 100 percent share of simulated profit on Pro and straight-to-funded accounts. It fits poorly if you need a large single withdrawal or a right to live capital: Pro requests are capped by size, a 30 percent consistency rule gates each cycle, and about 1 percent of simulated funded traders are moved live. The largest caveat is a redacted ledger that a reader cannot match to a bank payment.

Key terms on the 50K Trail
- Evaluation fee: $70 one-time for the 50K Trail, plus $5 to activate Pro, on the pricing module and the Trail Pro page.
- Account sizes: $25,000 to $300,000. Trail and EOD run to 300K, Static adds 100K and stops at 150K, and straight-to-funded stops at 150K, per the plan comparison.
- Profit split: 100 percent of eligible simulated profit on Pro and straight-to-funded accounts, and 80 percent to the trader on S2L live, per the about article and live payouts.
- Profit target: $3,000 on the 50K Trail, two qualifying days, and a 50 percent consistency cap in the evaluation, per the Trail evaluation.
- Max drawdown: $2,500 intraday trailing on the 50K Trail, 5 percent of the starting balance, and the floor stops there, per the Trail Pro page.
- Daily loss limit: none on Trail or Static. The 50K EOD and the 50K straight-to-funded account each pause at $1,250, per the plan comparison and the S2F daily loss limit.
- Payout cadence: eight qualifying days between Pro requests, a $500 minimum in $50 steps, and a $2,000 cap on the 50K, which must show $52,600 before the request and $52,000 after it, per Trail payouts.
- Minimum days: two qualifying days to pass Trail, Static or EOD, eight between Pro payouts, and ten between straight-to-funded payouts, per qualifying days.
What a DayTraders withdrawal actually pays
The DayTraders prop firm leads with the 100 percent figure. The homepage FAQ, read on 7 November 2026, says Pro and straight-to-funded accounts keep eligible profit, S2L live accounts pay the trader 80 percent, and evaluation fees are one-time.
A single request sits well under that split. Trail and EOD Pro allow $1,000 on 25K, $2,000 on 50K, $3,500 on 150K and $5,000 on 300K. The how-it-works page's $75,000 cycle maximum is fifteen times the $5,000 Trail cap, and EOD Pro plus straight-to-funded are each limited to five inside fifteen simulated funded accounts. A 50K Trail must show $52,600 to ask and $52,000 afterwards, so the first eligible request is $600 and the $2,000 cap needs at least $54,000.
On straight-to-funded, the 50K needs $3,500, then $3,000, then $2,500, after ten qualifying days, with a $2,000 cap, per S2F payouts. A 20 percent consistency rule limits the best day to one fifth of cycle profit, $700 against that first $3,500. Live payouts use the 80/20 split, drop the daily-profit minimum and the consistency rule, start at $500, and pay only profit above a $1,000 buffer once drawdown locks at the starting balance. Core locks at a $52,000 peak and pays above $51,000, with Plane processing from 11:00 to 16:00 Eastern Time on business days, and a balance that slips through the buffer is skipped.
The move-to-live article sets no milestone, says about 1 percent of simulated funded traders are currently moved live. At $10,000 or more, half is paid and half becomes the live drawdown. Below that, the trader can take the payout plus free S2L evaluations, or stake $1,000 to $10,000 as the live drawdown. Simulated accounts then close, and excess simulated balances are generally forfeited.
The ledger and what stays unverified
The homepage FAQ says approval averages 32 minutes through Plane. The payout ledger, read on 7 November 2026, showed early-November rows timed in minutes, including a $1,000 six-minute 25K Static row for Lacey and repeated $600 rows under one redacted Simi Valley name, with the trades column blank. Masked names and that blank column leave no audited total, no futures commission merchant statement and no bank file behind the rows. What stays unverified is the refusal rate, how often the consistency rule or the post-payout floor causes it, and whether the rows match money sent.
"We're giving 30 traders a chance to prove their consistency and discipline."
Leo Riot, chief technology officer, posted that sentence on X on 22 June 2026, and the line addresses consistency rather than the dollars a request returns.
Rules that close the account or hold the payout
Consistency blocks a payout after a large green day. Trail, Static and EOD use 50 percent in the evaluation and 30 percent of profit since the last payout on Pro. A $3,000 cycle with a $1,200 best day is 40 percent, so the help centre's example needs $4,000 before that day falls to 30 percent. Days over the limit fail to count, as does the request day itself, and a 50K qualifying day needs at least $200 between 18:00 Eastern Time and 16:59 the next afternoon.
The intraday trail ends Trail accounts because the floor follows peak equity, including open profit, then stops at the starting balance. A spike that is given back can still raise the floor, and touching it closes the account with no reset. EOD and straight-to-funded trails move only on the close, while a Static floor stays put, at $49,000 on the 50K against a $3,750 target. Where a daily loss limit exists, it pauses the account until 18:00 Eastern Time, yet the terms of 5 March 2025 still call that event a hard breach the firm may make permanent.
Hedging is banned across a trader's own accounts, including long Nasdaq futures against short S&P futures, and high-frequency churn is banned as well. A confirmed breach forfeits unpaid profit, approved payouts are honoured, and account sharing removes the trader. The pass dies if price falls back through the target or the $5 activation misses a ten-day window. Under the minimum activity policy, a one-time account needs four minimum-profit days in every rolling 30 days, while that page still describes a Monthly track of one such day and clashes with the FAQ's one-time language.
A 50K Trail against Topstep and Goat Funded Futures
Help-centre pages read on 7 November 2026 put the 50K, the size all three firms publish in detail, side by side, and a funded account at this stage is simulated buying power. See the Goat Funded Futures review and the prop firms desk for the wider set.
| Rule on a 50K account | DayTraders Trail | Topstep Combine, standard path | Goat Funded Futures EOD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listed fee to start | $70 one-time | $49 a month | $69, reduced from $138 |
| Activation fee | $5 | $149 per Express Funded Account | $0 |
| Profit target | $3,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 |
| Max loss | $2,500 intraday trailing, stops at the start | $2,000 Maximum Loss Limit | $2,000 end-of-day trailing, locks at the start |
| Share once funded | 100 percent of eligible simulated profit, cap $2,000 | 100 percent until $10,000, then 90 percent | 80 percent by default, first cap $1,500 |
DayTraders buys a wider loss allowance and no daily loss limit, then holds each withdrawal at $2,000 after eight qualifying days, while Topstep's standard path bills again each month.
Day Traders LLC, and what the terms call simulated
The terms, last updated on 5 March 2025, name the operator as Day Traders LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, at 2300 W Sahara Avenue, Suite 800, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102. The firm dates itself to February 2023. Collecto, Inc., a Delaware corporation, processes payments. Section 5 places the company outside the United States broker-dealer definition and says it trades no securities. The terms quote CFTC Rule 4.41, require the user to be at least 18 and a non-professional, and bar a felony, an NFA or CFTC discipline, or a balance owed to a trading firm. These pages name no NFA number, no CFTC category and no futures commission merchant, the gap also examined in the Futures Desk review.
Evaluations, Pro, straight-to-funded and the S2L evaluation are simulated, and only live accounts trade live markets. The footer says evaluation and Pro accounts involve no real capital, while S2L live accounts involve real execution. Section 4 says fictitious trading pays no remuneration unless the firm agrees otherwise, and the about article then calls those payouts real money, which holds only as a separate firm payment. The book is simulated futures on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and the Chicago Board of Trade, routed through Rithmic, with ArcTrader as the browser platform.
Questions traders ask before they pay
Is the Pro balance the trader's capital?
The about article and the footer call Pro simulated and say the balance involves no real capital. A cleared payout is Plane cash or DT Wallet credit, and the glossary says that credit cannot be cashed out. The fee buys the test, and the terms keep it if the account ends early.
How large is the first 50K Trail withdrawal?
The minimum is $500 in $50 steps, after eight qualifying days, with the best day at or under 30 percent of cycle profit. From a $52,600 balance only $600 can leave, because $52,000 must remain, and the $2,000 cap needs at least $54,000.
What does a daily loss limit do?
Where a plan publishes one, trading pauses until 18:00 Eastern Time, open positions are flattened, and touching the drawdown fails the account. Trail and Static publish no daily loss limit, yet the March 2025 terms still treat a daily-loss breach as a hard breach the firm may make permanent.
Does paying reach a live account?
An invitation from Pro or straight-to-funded has no fixed milestone, and about 1 percent of simulated funded traders are moved live. S2L asks for eight qualifying days and 25 percent consistency, then a live account down to one mini on Core, and only one of up to five live accounts can trade.
Which payout facts remain unchecked?
The caps, floors, day counts, splits and the live buffer sit on the help pages. Still missing are an audited payout sum, a futures commission merchant in the terms, and a counted set of refused requests. The ledger shows redacted rows and minute-level times, which is a disclosure rather than a bank reconciliation.

The Industry Spread has no affiliate or referral relationship with the firms covered. Proprietary trading challenges carry a fee that is generally non-refundable, most participants do not reach a funded account, and funded capital is the firm's capital, not the trader's.
