Axiom SL, the US based risk management and regulatory reporting solutions provider recently revealed in an announcement that the firm has hired a new General Manager for its EMEA business division. As per statement released by the firm, it has hired former Thomson Reuters executive Ms. Claudia Thurner to serve as its General Manager for EMEA region effective immediately. The incoming executive is a veteran with nearly 14 years of experience in data research, risk management and sales verticals and a proven track record in driving revenue and managing account relationships at C-Level with a gift for helping her clients reduce costs and manage risks while still maintaining regulatory compliance. Claudia also holds dual MBA degree from London & Columbia business schools. In her new role as head of EMEA business division, Ms. Thurner will be based out of the firm’s London office and is responsible for leading the firm’s expansion efforts in EMEA region. Before joining Axiom SL, Claudia served at Smart Stream Technologies for nearly seven and a half years leading the firm’s sales division in European and Latin American market region and was also responsible for the firm’s global strategic accounts.
Prior to Smart Stream Tech, she spent more than six years serving at Thomson Reuters as a business analyst, account manager and business development manager/sales specialist at risk management business unit. Claudia began her career as Research Analyst at IESE Business School in March of 2005 post graduating from Columbia University’s business school.
