CFH Group, a Copenhagen based fintech holding firm recently revealed in an announcement that it is parting ways with one of its longest serving executives Mr. Ole Rossing. Mr. Rossing has been a part of the group’s senior level leadership executives since its founding having joined the firm in April of 2008 shortly after the parent holding firm was launched by its founders Mr. Frahm. As per information in his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Rossing joined the firm upon request of Mr. Frahm taking up his current role as CIO and was based out of the group’s office located in London in order to help Frahm build up the group’s brokerage and clearing service divisions. Since he took up his role back in 2008, Mr. Rossing has worked hard to ensure smooth operation and development of CFH’s teams across the world and was also responsible for handling the group’s technology partnerships and IT Strategy.
Given the fact that Ole is one of the few executives left in margin trading industry with more than three decades of experience, this announcement has caused quite some attention to pop up in the industry. However, both the announcement and his LinkedIn profile failed to contain any information on his future ventures or the date of his resignation from the firm aside from information that he is parting ways on positive note. Aside from his help in developing the firm’s brokerage division, he has also played a major role in establishing the group’s technology arm, CFH Systems which has offices located in Copenhagen and Zurich and provides cloud hosted trading backend and margin systems. Prior to his current role at CFH Group which he has held for nearly 12 years now he also served in similar role in several other firms such as Bluecom A/S & Saxo Bank A/S earlier in his career. He has also served in other senior level roles such as Managing Director of E-ngineers ApS and Senior Executive Director at Saxo Bank.
Mr. Rossing began his career while still pursuing his bachelor’s degree having joined FLSmidth A/S as a computer engineer in the firm’s FLS Data division in February of 1983. Post graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computers and electronics from Copenhagen University College of Engineering in 1984 he moved on to serve at the firm’s process automation department and climbed his way upto senior development engineer who was in charge of nearly 250 employees by the time he parted ways with the firm having served as part of its family for nearly 14½ years. CFH Group’s spokesperson who confirmed Ole’s departure from the firm to news outlet thanked Ole for his service during his comments to news site Finance magnates and said, “Upon mutual agreement between Ole Rossing and Consolidated Financial Holdings A/S, Ole is resigning from his position as IT Director. Ole has had his last day of work. Consolidated Financial Holdings A/S thanks Ole for his many years of loyal service and wishes him the best in the future”.
