Brad Levy Joins Symphony as Chief Commercial Officer

Symphony.com, a California based IT firm specialising in providing secure collaboration for global markets revealed appointment of new senior level executive in its latest announcement. As per statement released by the firm, it has hired Mr. Bard Levy to serve as its President and Chief Commercial Officer effective immediately. Mr. Levy is a seasoned veteran with nearly three decades of experience in banking, regulatory and financial technology verticals. Most recently he served as Chairman Emeritus at Finos having been a part of the firm for more than five years. Bard joined Fintech Open Source Foundation as a Board Member in May of 2015 and took on role of Chairman in April of 2018. Prior to that, he served as member of US CFTC Technology Advisory Committee member for nearly five years. In his new role at the firm, Brad will be responsible for leading the firm’s growth and expansion efforts with particular focus on expanding its products and services with focus on capital market workflows and solutions.

His appointment at the firm comes at a crucial point as it is facing strong demand for its secure and compliant collaboration integrated with automated workflows. He has served as a member of board of management at numerous industry leading financial service providers such as LoanX, BrokerTec Futures exchange, BrokerTec, Eurex US Futures Exchange, BondDesk, SecuritiesHub, CDS IndexCo, SwapsWire, Markit and Trade Web. Brad spent a major part of his career serving in Goldman Sachs having remained at the firm for more than 17 years. He joined the firm as an Analyst and slowly made his way up having also served as a Vice President and Managing Director before eventurally moving on to IHS Markit where he served as CEO of MarkitSERV/Global Head Loans and Partner. Brad began his career in financial services industry as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers in August of 1992.
