BNY Mellon Partners With LionTrust to Boost Investment Management Platform

BNY Mellon BNY Mellon recently revealed in an announcement that it has partnered with Liontrust on its efforts in improving the asset management platform.

As per the statement released by the firm, the US-based multinational banking service provider has onboarded Liontrust Asset Management Plc as its first end to end client on its new investment operations platform.

This new investment operations platform uses an open architecture platform aimed at improving automation and integration capabilities to provide its institutional asset manager with offer-enhanced data management and control capabilities.

The newly launched investment management platform unit is made up of its existing middle office solutions and an enhanced set of services that support the evolving needs of its institutional asset management client base. 

The newly launched platform will provide modular data capabilities that facilitate clients to gain greater operational transparency and flexible integration to outsourced services and operations. Clients also gain access to a wide range of services such as trade support, derivatives lifecycle, collateral management, bank loans, investment book of record (IBOR) and investment performance across all asset classes.

Aside from clients, the asset managers also gain new features that allow them to make better decisions when it comes to investment decisions when it comes to risk management, improving efficiency and cost reduction.
