BNY Mellon Taps Former BCG Partner and MD, Roman Regelman as VP and Head of Digital Operations

BNY Mellon, the US banking and financial services giant has announced on Wednesday, the appointment of Roman Regelman, to a new position of Executive Vice President and Head of Digital. Known as global digital business transformation expert, Mr Roman Regelman will also be joining the firm’s executive committee, the firm’s senior most governing body.

Mr Regelman’s responsibilities include building a new global team across bank by attracting top talents in digital space, setting up of strategic direction for the bank’s digital future. He will also be working on investing in client and internal digital capabilities such as data management, AI, machine learning and robotics.

Roman Regelman will assume his new position from September 17th, 2018 and will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Charles Scharf. His experience in the field of digital is very valued and will help BNY Mellon to strengthen its digital future.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he was Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consultancy Group (BCG) for around six years. He has also held senior level positions atPwC, Mitchell Madison Group and other fintech companies. In total he has over 25 years of experience in the space and was also involved in launch of several fintech companies.

Regelman has done graduation degree in Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and is MBA in Business. He is also a well known commentator and author regarding latest industry trends of the financial market sector.
