First Derivatives, a leading player in global financial technology market space has revealed the appointment of Mr. Alan Coad as its Chief Revenue Officer for its KX- tool in its latest announcement. KX-tool is the firm’s flagship analytical software business and in his new role as Chief of Revenue for the KX business division, Coad will be responsible for its global sales activities with particular focus on accelerating the expansion of KX streaming analytics tool onto other industries. Alan will now serve from the firm’s London office and report directly to Mr. Seamus Keating – Chief Executive Officer of First Derivatives Inc. The incoming executive is a seasoned veteran with more than three decades of experience and is future focused tech leader who is obsessed with innovation, differentiation and growth. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Google Cloud for UK and Ireland region and had been serving in the role of nearly twenty eight months now.
Prior to his brief stint at Google, he served as Vice President and General Manager for EMEA region at Pivotal Software Inc for more than three years. Before that, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at RockeTalk Inc where he served for nearly three and a half years. Some of his other notable roles include – Senior Vice President of Commercial unit at iSkoot – now a part of Qualcomm, Advisor at Vlingo, Accuris Networks, Executive Vice President of Spin Vox, Advisory Board Member at Plaxo Inc, Chief Innovation Officer , MD – Global TMT Line of Business, Chief Innovation Officer and Senior VP of Global Sales & Field Operation at Logica CMG Global Telecoms, President at Logica South America, Business Development executive at ESB international and Sector Account Manager at Post GEM.
