TraceSafe Technologies Inc, an El Salvador headquartered leading player in wearable safety tech revealed the appointment of Mr. Marcin Samiec as its Chief Privacy Officer and Vice President of Technology in its latest announcement. The incoming executive is a veteran with more than 13 years of experience specialising in technology and privacy law compliance and is also an expert in implementing Privacy and Security into the product development process and business operations. His appointment in the firm is a part of its efforts aimed at bolstering its strategic plans for global expansion as a leading wearable safety tech provider. As part of its key plans, the firm wishes to proactively develop comprehensive data guidelines and privacy preserving technologies that promote health and safety. Trace Safe’s product solutions can also be integrated into other wearables and sensor-based devices focusing on advancing health and safety measures allowing firms across wide range of industries to move towards new state of normalcy.
As part of its efforts, the firm has already secured pilot projects in 7 countries so far this year while also actively working to expand its global footprint. The firm is currently in discussions with many firms across wide range of markets crossing a multitude of regional privacy jurisdictions including those governed by GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA to gain new global client base. As most of the firm’s customer’s hail from government agencies and institutional organizations such as healthcare and universities, market participants believe TraceSafe will operate at the highest privacy standards in the industry. Before taking up his current role at the firm, Marcin served as Vice President of Technology and Operations at Fresh Tracks Canada Inc and had been a part of the firm for nearly 5½ years. During his term with the firm, he also served as its technology manager & director of technology and business enablement. Prior to that, he served as Chairman of Peer Leadership Forums at Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, Project Manager of Technology Strategy at PM-Volunteers.Org and business analyst at Glentel. He has also served in numerous roles at Back Chek during the early phase of his career.
