St. Vincent based retail forex Broker One Trading Markets, recently revealed in an announcement that the firm now has a new Chief Executive Officer. According to the update from the firm, it has hired a famous Middle East based FX industry veteran Walid Jaradat to serve as its new Chief Executive Officer. The firm is registered in St. Vincent and Grenadines as OT Markets Ltd and also has an office in the UK according to information on the firm’s website.
The move was first made public via changes made to Mr. Jaradat in his LinkedIn account and comes a bit delayed given the fact that his role at the firm began in the first half of 2019. Jaradat is an industry veteran with nearly 17 years of experience in financial services industry and is popular in the Middle Eastern and North African markets given his frequent appearance in financial news channels such as CNBC Arabia, Alarabiya TV, Abu Dhabi TV, Sky News Arabia, Almadar TV and DMTV in which he has often contributed data in the form of Market analysis.
He is also a frequent speaker in financial seminars and conferences held in Dubai, KSA, AMMA, and China, and he is popularly known in the industry as an expert market analyst and strategist who specializes in both fundamental and technical analysis of Forex pairs, commodities, and global indices. While he has held several key leadership roles in his long career, this is his first rodeo as a Chief Executive Officer. Before joining One Trading Markets, Walid served as Chief Market Strategist and Head of Research at Noor Capital PSC a Dubai based Middle-East focused Forex brokerage service provider.
During his three-year-long stint at the UAE-based fx trading service provider, he was in charge of developing and maintaining the firm’s relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure they received the best service from the firm in a bid to generate a high level of trading volume. He was also responsible for assisting key clients at the firm by providing market analysis data in order to maximize their portfolio stability.
Prior to Noor Capital, he served in a role of similar capacity which required advising clients with market analysis data as Chief Market Strategist at Boston Merchant Financial Ltd another Dubai based firm which handles assets in Forex, global equities, and bonds, etc. He also served at UK based CFD trading service provider HYCM as Chief Market Strategist for nearly four years. Before serving in the role of CMS, he served as FX and Equity Markets Analyst at PalFX information Services, Senior Relationship Manager at Orient Financial Brokers and in the role of Chief Dealer at International Financial Services, Vision Investment LLC and APEX FX Trading in early days of his career in the financial industry.
Speaking about his new role at the firm, Walid commented at an interview by news website Financemagnates stating, “My move came after Spending 17 years in the industry so far, I have been worked with several global leading brokers as a Chief Market Strategist. My role in One Trading Markets (OTM) as CEO is a new step in my career, and it’s a big challenge as well”.
