Frederic Villain Appointed as Itiviti’s Head of Asian Sales

Sweden based trading technology and service provider – Itiviti has announced change in its high level executive post for Asian region. This change in executive level post is viewed by many in the market as a strong emphasis of their commitment to expand their business in Asian market. The firm has announced that Frederic Villain has been appointed as head of agency trading sales for Asian region. In his role as agency trading sales head, Villain is responsible for steering their sales activity in Asian region while ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and growth of their market share in region. As per report from the company, this move is effective immediately as Mr. Villain is already based out of the firm’s Singapore office. The role of head of agency trading sales also mandates Mr. Villain to manage regional client relations and also define and execute Itiviti’s regional sales and account management strategies.

When speaking about appointment of Frederic Villain as Head of sales in Asian region, Ofir Gefen, President of APAC at Itiviti was quoted saying, “We’re thrilled to have Fred back on our team. His experience, solid systems knowledge and strong business acumen with a keen sense for what really matters to customers will be great assets as we are raising our targets for Asia and specifically for our initiative to support former Bloomberg SSEOMS clients when migrating their platforms”. This move is also viewed by many in the industry as Itiviti’s strong desire to focus on Bloomberg’s order management system SSEOMS owing to the product’s migration capacity. Before joining Itiviti in his current role as head of agency, Mr. Villain worked at Bloomberg and was responsible for SSEOMS operation in Asia-Pacific region. During his tenure at Bloomberg Mr. Villain also worked in sales, implementation and account management with all roles focused on activity in APAC region. Itiviti hopes to leverage his experience and knowledge gained from the tenure in Bloomberg towards their bid to expand business and market share in Asian market.

During his career which has spans more than 15 years in the industry, he has gained vast knowledge in Fintech sector having held roles of managerial, marketing and implementation backgrounds. Aside from Bloomberg, other notable companies Mr. Villain served at include Ullink and FIS/Sungard. Speaking about his new role at Itiviti, Fred commented, “I’m truly proud to become part of Itiviti and contribute to our further growth as a full-service trading technology and infrastructure provider to Asian financial institutions”. On the same note, Rob Mackay, CEO of Itiviti commented, “I’m sure that our Asia customers will be just as glad to see Fred at Itiviti as we are about him joining our team.
