Liquidnet, the US based institutional trading and equities network provider has onboarded a new member to its executive committee. As per announcement from the firm, it has promoted Mr. Vicky Sanders to serve as its new Global Head of Investment Analytics.
In his new role with the firm, Mr. Sanders will be responsible for leading the team of Liquidnet’s new business vertical – Liquidnet Investment Analytics. The new business division will leverage the artificial intelligence capabilities of OTAS technologies – a firm recently acquired by Liquidnet and Prattle and pair them with one of the largest online marketplaces and aggregators of research through Liquidnet’s acquisition of RSRCHXchange. This service is expected to run alongside Liquidnet’s existing equity execution and fixed income businesses.
The service of Liquidnet Investment Analytics will be made available via Liquidnet IA app which has been designed to support information discovery and decision making for institutional investment teams. The app will be made available for clients of the firm once new business division launches later this year. Sanders originally became a part of Liquidnet’s family when the firm acquired Sanders’ brainchild – RSRCHXchange back in May of 2019.
Sanders founded the exchange back in 2014 after witnesses the fundamental change in the market for investment research which enabled him to lead his firm to become first and most successful firm which used technology to aggregate and build one of the largest marketplaces for institutional research. In his new role, Mr. Sanders will be based out of firm’s London office and report directly to Brian Conroy President off Liquidnet.

Speaking about Mr. Sander’s new role at the firm, Brian Conroy said, “Since joining us last year, Vicky has been instrumental in helping us bring to life our vision for Liquidnet IA. We look forward to all that she will accomplish as we get closer to launching the new Investment Analytics app later this year”.
