Chetwood Financial Limited, one of the emerging challenger bank start-ups in UK has revealed the addition of three new executives to its senior level leadership team. As per statement released by the firm, it has onboarded Mrs. Jessica Rusu, Mrs. Sarah Hosker & Mr. Chris Daniels to serve as part of its executive leadership team. The newly hired executives will serve in role of Chief Data Officer, Head of People and Chief Risk Officer respectively. Mrs. Rusu who takes on the role of Chief Data officer is a veteran with more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry and is an expert in analytics, data/risk/ regulatory management and internal audit verticals. Aside from her current role at UK based challenger bank, she also served as a Non-Executive Director at Cambridge University Press has held the role for nearly two years now.
Some of her other notable roles include – Senior Director of Global Analytics at eBay, Head of Capital Stress Testing & Advances Analytics at GE Capital, EU risk analytics manager and technology strategy/management information systems at Ford Motor Credit Company’s US and European units. Mrs. Sarah Hosker who joins alongside Mrs. Rusus and takes on the role of head of people is also a veteran with more than two decades of experience in Human Resource management having served in multiple industries from across the globe. In her new role at Chetwood Financial, Mrs. Hosker will be in-charge of combining operational and strategic HR to maintain the firm’s current initiatives in culture and organisational development. Most recently, Mrs. Hosker served as Senior HR Business Partner at Wheatsheaf group prior to which she served as Head of Human Resources at Lupin Atlantic Holdings SA and Lupin Europe limited and was in charge of personnel from EMEA, Russia and CIS regions.
Earlier in her career, she had served as Regional HR Manager at Staples and as HR Administrator at Alpha Retail. Mr. Chris Daniels who takes on the role of Chief Risk Officer is a veteran with 17 years of experience in banking and financial services. Chris began his career in the financial services industry as senior analyst at Barclay Card in October of 2003 and was promoted twice in the firm to roles of Collections analytics manager and Head of European collections strategy. He parted with the firm in June of 2008 to join Vanquis Bank as its Head of Customer Value Management and was promoted thrice during his 12 year term with the firm and held roles of credit director, international director and chief risk officer respectively. Chris resigned from Vanuqis Bank in March of 2020 having served in the role of CRO for nearly four years and six months at that point of time. These appointments to its executive leadership team are part of bank’s efforts aimed at ensuring smooth and continuous service to its distinct customer segment with innovative digital products.
