Tokeny Onboards Damien Fontanille to Head its European Expansion

Tokeny Solutions, a Luxembourg based provider of white-label platform recently revealed the appointment of new senior level executive to its team. As per statement released by the firm earlier this week, it has onboarded Mr. Damien Fontanille to serve as its new business development director. In his new role at the firm, Mr. Fontanille will be responsible for leading the firm’s expansion efforts across three key markets – France, Britain, and Italy as the firm aims at strengthening its position in European market. The firm has been on hiring spree lately in order to boost its team in a bid to ensure smooth progress of both its expansion activities and regular business operations. It should be noted that the firm also hired Mr. Bastiaan Don in recent past to serve in role of same capacity and be in-charge of the firm’s expansion efforts in three other European markets namely – Swiss, Germany and Austria.

The incoming executive is a veteran with nearly 16 years of experience in the financial industry and has held many key roles in major companies. Before taking up his role at Tokeny solutions, he served as a partner at ALLINDEX, a technology solutions provider for the index industry for more than two and a half years. Prior to that he served as the head of product marketing division for European region at RBS for nearly six years. Before that he served as the head of equity and hybrid derivatives sales at Natixis for Italy, Greece and Turkey region for nearly six years.  He began his career in financial service industry as the Head of Equity Derivative Sales Desk in Italy at Credit Lyonnais Securities post graduating with a Masters degree in Business and Tax Law and Finance.
