CLS Group, a specialist US financial institutions providing settlement, processing and execution services has announced the addition of Thomas Berkery as a new independent (outside) Director to its Board of Directors on 16th Oct. 2018. He will be a part of the company’s Audit and Finance Committee.
Berkery is experienced finance personnel and has over four decades of experience in the finance and operations field. In his four decades of experience, he has accrued a lot of experience in the Board level functioning and was part of several Audit committees and Boards of Fortune 50 multinationals. He overlooked various divisions of companies that include acquisitions and divestitures, regulatory matters, technology and more.
Most recently he retired from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he was serving as Global Engagement Leader and Audit Signing Partner. He was also in charge of providing financial advice and managing the firm’s relationship with large MNC clients. Prior to this, he was Managing Partner at New York Metropolitan region, and was responsible for the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory practice. He has also served in the role of COO (Global Markets and Investment Banking) at Bank of America managing various divisions from 2004 to 2007.
