TABB Group Appoints Heads of Fixed Income And Derivatives Research

TABB Group, a leading international research and consulting firm focused exclusively on capital markets, has added two capital markets industry veterans to its team. George Bollenbacher was appointed head of fixed income research, and Russell Rhoads is the new head of derivatives research.

George Bollenbacher is an industry veteran with twenty years of experience as a bond trader and ten years in the capital market technology business, assisting banks, asset managers and custodians in implementing process and technology changes. Bollenbacher authored “The Professional’s Guide to the US Government Securities Market” and “The New Business of Banking”.

Russell Rhoads joined TABB Group in July 2018 from the Cboe Options Institute as director of education after nearly ten years at Cboe Global Markets. His 25-year old career includes senior roles at several buy-side firms, including Balyasny Asset Management, Tradelink, Haven Funds, Security Benefit, and Peak Trading Group. He authored several books on the financial markets, including Candlestick Charting For Dummies (2008), Option Spread Trading (2011), Trading VIX
Derivatives (2011), Trading Weekly Options (2013), and The Warren Buffett Way 3rd Edition Workbook (2013). He is currently pursuing a PhD from Oklahoma State University, where he expects to complete his degree requirements in early 2019.
