Marc Bürki, Chief Executive at Swissquote

Commenting on their successful fundraising campaign, Marc Burki – Chief Executive Officer of Swissquote said “We are delighted with the good results and the fact that we together with Caritas Switzerland are able to help people living in poverty and families in precarious situations”.

Speaking about their work in the country and this fund raising campaign, Hugo Fasel – Director of Caritas Switzerland said “ Just as small businesses run into liquidity problems, many families at risk of poverty also lack the money to pay their bulls at the end of the month. There is no credit guaranteed by the Department of Finance for them. Families and single people with low wages and supplemental income are the first to suffer from the crisis. The poorest are hit hard. Thanks to donation from companies such as Swissquote, but also from private individuals, we can support these people quickly and unbureaucratically”.
