Strategic Senior Level Management Appointments in Equiti Capital, BNP Paribas and TRON

Equiti Capital Promotes COO, Michael Ayres to its Board of Directors.

equitiEquiti Capital UK Ltd. has promoted its current Chief Operating Officer, Michael Ayres to its Board of Directors.

Michael has joined the company in May 2018, under the Divisa brand, and was then appointed as the Chief Risk Officer. He was promoted in less than four months to Chief Operating Officer, replacing Arik Oslerne, who stepped down from the position in July 2018. Michael’s promotion to the Board of Directors is also a significant move, as the company has rebranded to Equiti Capital UK, just two months before.

Prior to Divisa Capital, he was the Director of Operations at UK-based GKFX, serving more than five years. In his long career, he has worked with FXCM, Alpari and ODL Securities LTD.

Speaking on this appointment, the CEO of Equiti Capital UK, Brian Myers said:

BNP Paribas Appoints Barclay’s Graham Barnfield as Asia FX Chief 

equitiBNP Paribas in its latest senior level personnel appointments has replaced Asia FX Chief with Barclay’s Graham Barnfield.

Graham Barnfield is now head of BNP’s Asia FX & Rates Overseas unit and will take an enhanced leadership role with responsibilities across ‎all FX products and teams across the bank to deepen client relationship. He will look after the FX and rates distribution to all institutional clients in Asia and will work with management to review the Asian institutional sales organization.

Earlier, Barnfield has stepped down Barclays in December 2018, where he served as Head of EM FX Forwards & NDF trading in Europe. In his six-year tenure with the bank, he has held several senior roles in FX unit including Vice President of emerging markets and Asia FX trading.

Blockchain Platform TRON Appoints David Labhart as Head of Compliance

equitiBlockchain platform, TRON has appointed David Labhart, a seasoned regulatory industry executive as its Head of Compliance. He will also be the company’s co-general counsel.

Mr. Labhart will help the company with regulatory issues regarding blockchain and financial authorities. Mr. Labhart has over 15 years of extensive experience in the security industry and has worked with S&P Global Ratings, where managed North American compliance. He has also spent nine years with SEC as a Supervisory Attorney.
