CBOE Global Markets Inc. (Nasdaq: CBOE) has announced appointments of two key market veteran in its Market Data Services team in its London office. The appointments are made in view to help the company to expand its customer base in the European region. Richard Barden has been appointed as Director, Market Data Sales and Stephen Dorrian, Director, European Market Data.
Mr Barden will be responsible for handling the expansion and distribution of CBOE’s Market Data offering throughout Europe and Middle-East countries. Mr Barden has more than 20 years of experience in Market Data sales and joins CBOE from Morningstar, where he has been for the past 14 years managing the growth of its customer base. He has experience in working with a diverse range of client base including banks, brokers, data vendors. He has also worked with Thomson Financial prior to his appointment in Morningstar.
Mr Stephen Dorrian will be responsible for the commercial management of CBOE’s European Equities market data business globally including its sales and policy. He has worked with some of the leading global exchanges and joins the CBOE team from Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), where he was serving as Manager of Global Data Licensing Services. He has also served as a Market Data Licensing Manager in both London Metal Exchange and CMC Markets.
Mr Stephen Dorrian will report directly to Shaun Baskett, Director of Index Sales at Cboe Europe and Mr Richard Barden will report to Drew Carey, Head of Market Data Sales.
