Stater Global Appoints Simon Henry as Head of Compliance

Stater GlobalStater Global, an institutional prime of prime brokerage group has made the second appointment to the senior level management team for the second year in a row. The group has appointed Simon Henry as Head of Compliance and his primary role will be to ensure that the company is fully compliant with the rules and regulations of UK financial regulator, FCA.

Simon Henry is an experienced forex brokerage industry veteran with over 20 years in the field and of that, he has spent 17 years in compliance-related roles. He joins Stater Global from Capital Index where he was Interim Head of Compliance for a very short span of time. He has worked with Golden Global Investments (UK) Ltd., London Capital Group, LMAX Exchange, ETX Capital, Gain Capital, IG and Morgan Stanley to name a few. Simon also has deliverable FX experience, he has acquired while working for both HIFX and Moneycorp earlier in his career. Simon holds CF10 and CF11 accreditations with the FCA since 2006 and is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association.

For Stater Global, Henry will be the third person to be appointed as Head of Compliance in the last one and a half years. Prior to this, Stater has appointed Marc Stenzel was appointed as Head of Compliance after in February last year  David Dohmen who was appointed to the position left the company after a month.

Earlier this month, Stater has appointed  Mark Chesterman as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), former IG institutional head.
