Skrill, a leading low-cost international money transfers provider based in London, has announced it is now facilitating access to cryptocurrencies by offering its customers the opportunity to instantly buy and sell digital currencies through its digital wallet, with Skrill purchasing and holding the digital assets via a recognized cryptocurrency exchange.

Just a couple of clicks at the company’s website will allow users to exchange a number of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether and Litecoin, using any one of the over 40 fiat currencies available in the Skrill wallet.
The cryptocurrency offering through Skrill’s platform is likely to move more users to the cryptocurrency world as consumers can start buying and selling cryptocurrencies faster than ever in a platform where they easily upload funds with multiple payment options and currencies.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, Chief Executive Officer, said:
“The world of cryptocurrency trading is exciting and dynamic, and our digital wallet service very much lends itself to this environment. I’m confident that the ability to trade in cryptocurrencies quickly and easily through Skrill will appeal to consumers both now and in the future. We know many people want to experiment with cryptocurrency trading but don’t know where to start and we’ve made the entire process very straightforward.”
Live in more than 30 countries, the company plans to roll out the new cryptocurrency capability to additional markets and make it available on mobile and Paysafe’s NETELLER digital wallet in the next few months. Founded in 2001, Skrill is a subsidiary of Paysafe Group and reports earnings in excess of $330 million
