He lives in Chennai in India along with his wife and son. He began his career as a software developer in 1999 and then gradually moved into the financial industry as he began trading stocks in his pastime. He then moved into the financial markets full time and then shifted his focus to the FX markets due to the liquid nature of these markets. Since then, he has been trading FX diligently and his favourite pair are the EURUSD and EURJPY. Over the last couple of years, he has found blockchain to be of high interest and considering his background in software and finance, he has since assembled a team of highly talented developers who have since worked on a variety of projects like crypto exchanges and blockchain architecturing. Now, he balances his time between trading and commenting on both the FX and crypto markets. He has worked with many publications including FX Street and Finance Magnates, which has helped him gain experience and also recognition across the industry. New York based financial data research and analysis firm Visible Alpha LLC made an announcement earlier this week revealing creation and appointment of a new role at the firm. According to the statement released by the firm, it has hired Samantha Miller to serve in newly created role of Chief Product Officer at the firm. In her new role as Chief Product Officer, Samantha is responsible for management of the company’s entire product suite and will also have to oversee the firm’s product strategy moving forward with a clear focus on driving innovation, enhancing product scalability and delivering best in class services. Samantha is a veteran in product management and marketing given her eighteen year long career experience. During the span of her career, Miller had served in high level management roles in top tier firms from information services and data services verticals.
Samantha started her career as Director of Marketing and Client Services at CT Summation a former subsidiary of Wolter Kluwer company post graduating with from Villanova University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Prior to joining Visible Alpha, Miller served at investment related research, data and analytical service provider Dun & Bradstreet for a period of 4 years and 9 months in the role of Vice President of Global Product Portfolio Strategy and Management. Samantha also served as Vice President of Product Management for data service and business information analytics providing firms InData Corporation and Lexis Nexis. Miller also did a short stint as Director of Marketing for US market region at Thomson Reuters from their New York office.
