Rosenthal Collins Group announces new President

Independent futures brokerage Rosenthal Collins Group LLC announced the promotions of Jason Manumaleuna to President and Richard Mackey to Deputy President.

In 2017, the company had promoted former Back Office Manager Robert Turner to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer as well as Patrick Carey to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Strategic Implementation.
In July 2017, RCG was fined $5 million by CFTC after being implicated in several schemes to manipulate CME rebates.

Acting as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2015, Manumaleuna is a futures industry veteran with over two decades of experience, serving in senior roles at Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs) for the past 20 years. Prior to joining RCG, he spent more than seven years at R.J. O’Brien & Associates, first as a Controller only to be promoted to Senior Vice President & CFO in 2010. There, he helped the company navigate through the industry’s newly enhanced customer protection rules and helped manage significant growth in the firm’s customer segregated funds.

Acting as Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Richard Mackey has more than 25 years of trading, operations and management experience in futures and securities, including 13 years at RCG. Since joining RCG in 2002 as a fixed income trader, he transitioned to RCG’s Risk Department in 2006, where he supervised all risk management functions and became Senior Vice President of Risk. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as Treasurer for Peak6 Advisors, only to return to RCG in 2014.

Prior to joining RCG in 2002, Mackey was an interest rate broker at the Chicago Board of Trade, executing orders for institutional customers and major investment banks.
