The wealth management industry is quickly adjusting to the implications of the pandemic, whether at the office or working remotely. This has become an opportunity for Refinitiv to offer its new flagship workflow solution, Refinitiv Workspace for Wealth Advisors, for a limited period of 60 days.
The web-based application will prove useful to market participants who are experiencing increased client-service requests during this time of heightened market volatility. The product provides market-leading news, research, data, and analytics so that wealth managers can properly deliver essential services.
Joseph Mrak, global head of Wealth Management, Refinitiv, commented: “As we work around the clock to help enable our customer operations, statistics from our brokerage transactions and operations service, BETA Systems – point to record trading volumes in recent weeks. February was recorded as the all-time highest month for BETA, but March is up 129% on average and is on track to surpass this record.”
“During these periods of intense volatility, the crucial role of technology and reliable and complete data cannot be overemphasized. Our current customers already have access to our advanced tools and solutions. We are offering other market participants, who are also experiencing increased client-service requests, an opportunity to benefit from 60-days of complimentary access to our new flagship workflow solution, Refinitiv Workspace for Wealth Advisors. This web-based application provides market-leading news, research, data, and analytics that will help any financial professional proactively meet the needs of their clients amidst market uncertainty and unprecedented market volatility”, Mrak added.
Mrak is available to discuss the many steps the firm is taking to equip its customers and their customers with the technology tools needed to operate and succeed during these times. Refinitiv has also created a COVID-19 app that provides up-to-date news, charts and commentary tracking the impact of the Coronavirus.
Refinitiv has recently entered into a strategic partnership with California based tech specialist ModuleQ, having gained partial ownership of the official partner of Microsoft. The partnership with ModuleQ will help provide proactive, mission-critical business information directly in their workflow to a wide range of professionals such as sales team executives, lawyers, and bankers to company executives.
Earlier this year, the firm appointed Andrea Remyn Stone to serve as its Customer Proposition Officer and member of the executive leadership team. Remyn Stone reports directly to Refinitiv’s Chief Executive Officer David Craig.
