Capitolis, a firm specialising in financial resource optimization SaaS platforms for capital market has revealed the appointment of Mr. Rahul Auradkar as its Chief Product Officer. In his new role as Chief of Products at the firm, Rahul is responsible for leading the firm’s global product development efforts. The incoming executive is a veteran with nearly three decades of experience across tech sector and is renowned for his successful track record of building industry cloud business solutions among both start-ups and large scale firms. He most recently served as CPO at Answer IQ and as an independent senior tech, product and company advisor. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Products & Analytics Applications at Apptio – an SaaS firm specialising in business management for nearly five years during which he helped establist its Technology Business Management unit.
During his term with Apptio, he helped the firm on its growth efforts from status of start up to publicly traded company with more than 200 Million USD in annual revenue. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 13 years serving in Microsoft where he accumulated considerable achievements. He served as part of the firm’s Virtualization, Embedded Systems, Azure and Office 365 teams and helped a great deal in driving its virtualization program and bringing about transformative customer impact in Azure, office 365 and windows server businesses. Prior to Microsoft, he served as Senior Director of internet b2b applications in Luminant worldwide, software engineer at Daimler Chrysler and Engineering Scientist at ISRO in team handling Geo-Synchronous Satellite Design and Simulation.
