OTCXN, the USA based blockchain tech trading, and settlement service provider recently revealed the addition of a new member to its Advisory Board.
As per the statement released by the firm, it has on-boarded Mr. Mike Lempres to serve as part of its board of advisors. The incoming executive is a veteran with more than 35 years of experience and is an expert in legal, risk management and regulatory environments with a proven successful track record given his experience serving in various government regulatory and management bodies and industry-leading financial service providers.
Prior to his most recent role as a member of the advisory board at OTCXN, he had been serving as a member of the board of directors at Silvergate Bank and as an Executive In Residence at Andreessen Horowitz since November of 2018.
Before these two roles, he had been serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Coinbase Custody Trust Company LLC and as Chief Legal and Risk Officer/Chief Policy Officer at Coinbase since January of 2017. Prior to Coinbase, he served at another cryptocurrency payment service provider – Bitnet Technologies Ltd for nearly a year.
During his term serving with these firms dealing in Cryptocurrency, he also served as Mayor and City Council Member for Town of Atherton in California. Earlier in his career, he has held high level managerial and leadership roles at firms from multiple industries such as SVB Financial Group, California Technology Council, AEGIS defense services LLC, The Carmen Group, US private investment corporation, and pacific exchange inc.
In the early phase of his career, he served in several roles in US legal department such as Special Counsel and Assistant for United States Attorney office, deputy associate attorney general and special counsel for US Department of Justice, Director at office of international affairs, executive commissioner at immigration and naturalization service and White House fellow and special assistant.
