Cyprus-headquartered forex brokerage services provider FX Primus recently revealed in an announcement stating that it has promoted one of its executives recently. According to the statement released by the firm, it has promoted Nima Siar who has been serving at the firm for the last nine months to the role of Chief Sales Officer. Nima Siar is an industry veteran with nearly 17 years of experience serving in the financial services industry.
Siar joined the Cyprus based forex trading services provider back in January of 2019 in the role of Head of Sales and Business Development for EMEA & LATAM (Europe, Middle East, and Africa & Latin American) market regions. Since joining the firm, Siar has been promoted twice. His first promotion was in July of 2019 when he was promoted to the role of Head of Global Sales and his current promotion to role of Chief Sales Officer which came into effect recently.
Prior to joining FX Primus, Siar spent the better part of his career serving at another Cyprus based CySEC regulated CFDs and Commodities trading service provider Easy Markets for nearly a decade. During his term at Easy Markets, Nima Siar has promoted a total of four times and climbed his way up all the way from an entry-level role to top management. Siar joined Easy Markets back in July of 2009 in the role of Account Manager for the Middle East and received his first promotion in February of 2013 to the role of Retention Marketing Manager and was promoted yet again in January of 2015 to role of Associate Director for Acquisition & Retention Marketing. Less than a year after the promotion he was promoted yet again to role of Director of Client Relationships and finally to the role of Director of Business Development which he held until his resignation from the firm in January of 2019.
Prior to joining easy markets, he served as a regional sales manager at Director Express Funding and as Loan Officer at Nova Star Mortgage. While he has spent major part of his career in Cyprus, he started his career in California having graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management from San Diego State University and his first two roles in his career where from firms based in California.
